Team work makes the dream work 🥂❤️🍇 BEHIND THE SCENES We are currently in the process of having our website re-built which seemed like the perfect excuse to update our team shots. Our last ones were taken in 2019 and believe it or not quite a lot has changed since then 😬 (Plus Brian and Purdy have arrived, we couldn’t miss the dogs out!) Alex of @cluskysmithphotography did the honours and amazingly managed to get a photo with all with our eyes open AND three dogs present 🤣🫶 a super proud moment, a lovely video captured by cam of behind the scenes 🍇
Cameron’s been busy making us some risen boards for our grazing tables . . . I for one think they look 👌🏻👌🏻⭐️⭐️ here they are in action for the second time this weekend (last night they had canapés on for our charity event - more pics of that very soon!) for todays baby shower with a charcuterie table for all their guests 🍇
We are pressing all our red wine this morning, hopefully we will have around 5000 litres for next year.
All the autumnal vibes for todays wedding AND grape harvesting ⭐️🍇
The news is out! Earlier this year we were visited by the very lovely Dan Walker and Helen Skelton who were filming for a new programme on channel five called ‘Yorkshire Great and Small’. The show starts THIS Thursday and our little corner of the wolds (Tom, myself, Jenny, Elaine and our trusty volunteers 💪) will feature on one of the episodes 😬🙈❤️ I THINK they said episode 5 🥂
Not a bad view today up in one of our new vineyards here on the edge of the Yorkshire wolds.
Just that time @danwalker and @helenskelton visited us to do some filming for an exciting new programme coming to your telly soon 😬🥂🙌 can’t wait to share more soon!
BLENDING DAY: after a years work in the vineyard and 8 months in the winery . . . Blending day is here! Whittled down to around 1minute, a quick look into the process we go through to decide how we will blend our tanks to produce our signature wines. This year will see two single varieties and 3 blends for our whites and rosè (red will be a few months yet!) a huge thanks to @philmorris for taking part again and sharing his thoughts! Next stop filtering (before we run out of 22 wines 😬)
Monday-ing wishing it was still Sunday ❤️ vineyard tours and that sun terrace ❤️⭐️🫶 same time next week please 🤷♀️
This time last week we were preparing to host our first fundraising event for our local village South Cave. Being third generation on the farm, south cave has been our home for quite some time (and according to dad, my grandmas side has pretty much lived here since record began AND my grandad has a plaque in the town hall for his contribution to the village during his time as a councilor). So it only seemed right that when Lyndsey and Tony asked for our help, we said yes! We partnered with the parish council to help raise funds for the festive lighting (with help from Saunts parties & events who provided a Devine hog roast and @abbeyroad who provided entertainment for the guests). 150 turned out for the event and the target set for us was met! A HUGE thanks to all that came AND all the other local business’ that donated prizes for the raffle! Same time next year?! 🤷♀️
