South Molton Business Association Sharing successes, working hard for local business and promoting our town. South Molton Business Association (SMBA) was founded in April 2008.

South Molton Business Association has been working with other business groups in North Devon to ensure that local business have a voice. The organisation is open to anyone planning to start or run a business in South Molton or one of the 32 parishes which surround it. SMBA’s main aim is to promote inward investment and encourage commercial growth and prosperity for the business community as a whol

e. The Association is also a lobbying/campaigning group to ensure that the business community has an effective voice across both the private and the public sector. The Association has a number of sub-committees made up of members with relevant expertise. Together they deal with matters such as marketing, membership and event planning.
