They’ve helped choose the dress, been a shoulder to cry on with seating plan stress and they’ve organised the Hen Do of dreams - but what exactly should your bridesmaids be doing on the wedding day itself?

Here are a few top tips for your besties:

• Wake up early, be prepped and on time
• Make sure the bride eats throughout the day
• Keep an eye on the time
• Make the prep room fun!
• Help the bride with her dress, shoes and jewellery
• Help her in and out of cars - watch the dress!
• Fix her dress and veil throughout the day
• Help round family members up for photos
• Carry an emergency kit including the bride’s lipstick
• Help her go to the bathroom
• Encourage guests to sign the guestbook
• Get on the dance floor!
• Help with any send-off the couple have planned such as a sparkler exit

Happy new year guys! Just thought I’d pop up to say ‘hi’ and thanks for following!

If we haven’t met yet, I’m Georgi, an Aussie girl living in Somerset, and Scarlett Rose Events is named after my beautiful daughters Olivia Rose and Holly Scarlett. I have worked in the wedding and events industry for over 15 years and I absolutely love helping people to celebrate the special moments in their life.
