CUTIE ALERT

We take a break from the normal flowery feed to provide a much anticipated pupdate!

Look at these gorgeous chocolate sausages 😍 aren’t they just adorable! Honestly sometimes I look at them and just squeal they are so cute.

These lovely happy healthy puppies are now 6.5 weeks old. Running around, jumping and playing. They sing a chorus for us when we walk in the door, and they sing for cuddles in the evenings too. I’m trying not to get too attached!

Clover is a wonderful mum and is bringing them up beautifully, teaching them to eat solid foods, where the best snuggle spots are and how to sit really sweetly for treats.

We took these photos for their advert. We do still have a few pups available if you think you can offer one a loving home! They make THE best companions.

We will be bringing them to the shop soon for a puppy party, I will let you all know on stories should you like to come and visit 🤎

Autumn wreaths 🍂🧡

These beauties will last you right through until you’re ready for your Christmas wreath! Made onto a fresh base of sustainably sourced moss, and loaded with all the glorious autumn bounty, they are carefully designed to stay beautiful even as they eventually age.

We will have a few made up at the shop from Thursday and the rest will be made to order. £60 each.

As it’s generally a quieter time of year, we are going to be spending less time at the shop, so that we can work on all the wonderful things we plan to bring you in the upcoming few months. Our website will soon be live as will our Christmas collection for 2024! So watch this space.

✨ FESTIVE WREATH MAKING WORKSHOPS ✨

I know it’s only September, and the sun has decided to make a reappearance this week... BUT Autumn is around the corner, and Christmas is not far behind!

So many of you have been asking about our Christmas wreath workshops, and so here we are.

Last year we sold out within a week in September! So this year we are holding a few extra dates in order to hopefully accommodate you all. Places are still limited and we anticipate the late November/early December dates will book up fast, so if you know you’d like to come along with a group of friends I’d recommend booking in ASAP to ensure we can get you all in together.

If you signed up to our newsletter or registered interest on our workshops then you should have received our email yesterday with all the details and how to book. Places are booking up fast! I can’t thank you all enough 🧡

Hello September!

The start of my favourite season, bringing with it all the lovely things: those rich late summer hues, dried flowers, woolly jumpers, warm breezes, spiced coffee, puppy snuggles, muddy boots and crunchy leaves to name a few.

We’ll be announcing our autumn and festive workshop dates very soon, we’ve already had lots of enquiries - you guys love to be prepared and we are here for it. Last year we sold out quickly and I have no doubt this year will be the same.

Also - our lovely Clover is due to have her puppies this week, so apologies for any unexpected closures if this happens! I imagine we will be closed on the day she has them, and I’ll pupdate (see what I did there?) via stories regularly. Pre ordered flowers and events won’t be affected.

Happy bank holiday weekend!

Just a reminder that we are closed for the long weekend, to celebrate my birthday and spend time with family.

We have some very exciting non flower related news to share with you all…

Our wonderful shop dog Clover is expecting puppies!

Clover is the most chilled out, gentle soul, and we know she is going to make the best mama.

Baby daddy is the gorgeous from just down the road in Kingsbury, and we are so excited to see the beautiful pups they produce.

Clover will be in the shop from Thursday this week, and for a little while longer, but then will be taking her maternity leave for a few months and will be back sometime in the autumn.

Eeeek! How exciting. Cocktail sausages incoming!

A few of our favourite snaps from this week. It’s been a week of plants and flowers - our two favourites! Our garden plants have been whizzing out as soon as they come in. Lots more coming next week.

I just want to say a special thank you to these 3 fabulous girls, who all chose to do their work experience with us over the last few weeks. Iris, Lyra and Sophie have all been wonderfully helpful and threw themselves into every task I assigned them. It’s been a joy to have you at the shop ladies, we look forward to seeing you all shine in the future ☀️

So happy to be back in my element, creating wonderfully wild bouquets for you all. The last few days have been full of these glorious long lasting stems, locally grown by the wonderful (florists if you don’t already buy from Lucy you are missing out!).

We’ve also had the pleasure of hosting the lovely Iris for her work experience this week, isn’t her bouquet just lovely?

If anyone’s been peeking through our windows over the last few days you’ll see we’ve had a bit of a change up with the layout in our shop space!

🌼 Aisle Meadows 🌼

I love this concept for a wedding, because who doesn’t want to get married amongst the wild flowers?

These meadow boxes were originally placed down the aisle, and later moved to line the top table, making for the most gorgeous photos during the speeches.

We then added a few delicate bud vases to the tables above, using the same wild type flowers which kept the table clear for all the feasting. So beautiful don’t you think?

Special mention to my most amazing friend and flower farmer Lucy for her hard work and dedication in growing all of these beauties for Z&M wedding last year!

Farewell flowers are not something I often share on here, but are actually one of my favourite arrangements to make. It’s an honour to be asked, and trusted to represent a family through flowers. I always pour my heart into the arrangements, thinking of the family and feeling the emotions as work on each one, and place each stem.

For this funeral I created three large tributes from different members of the immediate family, packed full of seasonal flowers in apricots, peach, soft orange and butter yellows with a zing of green. My work is far from traditional, and always comes with a wild meadow twist, and thankfully that is just what my customers love.

If you are ever in need of sympathy flowers, I’d love to help. Pop by the shop, I’ll put the kettle on and we can plan together 🌷
