If you know me you'll know I love 2 things (amongst a lot of other things!) but candles and ribbons are right up there. So I am loving the trend for ribbon decor at the moment, this year we've got some super pretty ribbon based designs coming up, from styling your chairs, to maxi long pure silk ribbons which will be appearing on wedding signage, to bespoke personalised ribbon place settings I cannot wait to get the ribbon reels out and start designing and snipping!!!

Were you lucky enough to get engaged at Christmas? Can't wait to get planning? We are often asked what order to do the main parts of planning in, so here is what we recommend. Decide what time of year you want to get married, and then start narrowing down your venue shortlist - do you want a totally blank canvas or do you want a hotel where most things are taken care of? Once your venue and date are secure, you can start thinking about booking in your key suppliers, which depending on your venue will likely be caterer, photographer, celebrant or humanist, music / band and of course florist and stylist! Most couples will need about 18 months to 2 years to plan a wedding, but we do work to much shorter timescales so always get in touch even if you are thinking we will already be booked up, we might just be able to squeeze you in! My top tip for table styling at Christmas is that even with a few simple elements you can still achieve an amazing result, try layering some fresh foraged foliage and adding lots of white taper candles for a really cosy warm glow!!
