We have been so busy of late we have not made many entertainment announcements
This Friday get ready south shields

We will be hosting a kids Easter party ( details will be announced later today ,

We have our community brunch 26 th April with the fabulous xfactor finalist

The New Sundial

We are close to the many popular attractions the area has to offer including South Marine Park and Ocean Beach Pleasure Park. The venue has a spacious open-plan lounge and bar which can accommodate upwards of 185 guests, while the front patio comfortably has space for 132 people, for when the warmer weather invites a more al fresco dining and drinking experience. The New Sundial has recently been taken over by new managers who have a wealth of experience of running bars in South Tyneside and are well-known for their drive and passion in making every customer’s experience to their establishment an enjoyable one. The pub specialises in value family food and drinks with on-site facilities including pool tables, darts and a children’s soft play area. The couple aim to build on the fantastic opportunities the venue presents with family-style entertainment which includes bar-room sports. Meanwhile, upstairs New The Sundial boats a function room with a balcony area which has a spectacular sea and beach view. The room can cater for a capacity for around 170 people. The New Sundial is currently taking bookings for Christmas parties, Christmas Fayre and Christmas Day. All functions booked under the previous management will be honoured. In January, the venue will undergo a transformation to create a more inviting, welcoming place for families and visitors to enjoy and relax with relatives and friends. Upstairs the function room will also be renovated to create an exquisite room in which to host your wedding, party or other function, complete with access to an extended balcony where stunning views of the South Shields coastline can be seen. “If you’re in South Shields, do pop in for a drink and a chat to find out more what we have planned for the future for The New Sundial.
