The Big Platinum Festival - Event Plan ✨
If you are struggling to know how to access the festival tomorrow or where to find activities that you have already spotted, this event plan can help you find your way around the festival!

The main entrance to the festival is the entrance near the Red Funnel Ferry and Kuti’s Brasserie.
Don’t you worry, there will be signs to guide you as well as volunteers to help you out if you have any questions.

Also, we advise you to reach the festival via public transport, if you can, to avoid any inconvenience in order to park your vehicle.

We all look forward to seeing you all tomorrow to celebrate not only Her Majesty, the Queen and her 70 years on the throne, but also our wonderful local community! ✨

Genre-bending and noisy, Bible Club are a combination of influences fused together, spanning from aggressive riffs, ambient soundscapes, and walls of sound. Harvey Jay Dodgson 🎶
Harvey Jay Dodgson started playing the guitar at the age of 7, his music influences are Peggy Lee and Billie Holiday to name a few.
During his mid-late teens, he wrote an EP called The Oxygen EP, his singles are all brimming with youthful exuberance blending the most infectious elements of The Libertines, Vampire To Jamie T and Sam Fender. You won’t want to miss out on his performance on the SoCo Introducing stage! ✨

Along with the thousands who NOW have bought their tickets, honoured guests have also confirmed that they'll be at the event. Including:

En Masse Collective has been created over 25 years ago in Southampton.
"I am very excited for the choir to perform at The Big Platinum Festival Celebration, we took part back in 2012 and it was an amazing atmosphere. We are honoured to be able to come back once again provide an uplifting a positive performance which is guaranteed to get you all singing and dancing" said Kara Craddock, coach and owner.

This dance group was formed in 2020 by a group of friends with a shared passion for Kizomba. Coming from Angola, Kizomba is a dance and musical genre, which translated means “party”. Hence, you can expect Kiz Connection to bring the party to the Variety Stage!

You might have seen her in TV shows such as Little Mix: The search, Olympia is a talented singer from Southampton who has graduated from The Wilkes Academy of Performing Arts. On the Variety Stage she will sing some of the most gorgeous songs of all time!

FOODIES: Head over to our Street Food & Bar Stalls where you’ll be able to enjoy some yummy street food and drinks. We are partnering with Kwackers who will provide high quality services like they always do🌯🍻

KIDS (In age or at heart): Go see Princess Elsa come to life and sing the ultimate Frozen songs or head towards the Fun Fair and take part in fun and exciting fun fair activities! 🎢

CAR LOVERS: If you love cars you sure don’t want to miss our New Car display! We heard that Audi and Aston Martin might make an appearance… 🚘

CIRCUS LOVERS: There will be a circus workshop so head over there if you’ve always been fascinated by the circus or if you want to learn a new skill and have fun! 🎪

The Big Platinum Festival is for EVERYONE, hence there will be a lot of fun activities to choose from that will suit everybody!

Plus, we are thankful to be supported by our local BBC Radio Solent which will be broadcasting on the day directly from the festival!📻
