Pocket Boutonnières are a gorgeous and unique take on the traditional buttonhole.

These slightly bigger and more interesting designs are not just beautiful but they are also a lot more secure. Have you ever had a buttonhole that just won’t stay put with a pin? The Artisan Floral Studio is a new contemporary florist set on the beautiful South Coast of England. Established by Kara Halford HDF, who also holds a prestigious RHS Chelsea Flower Show Gold (2019) and Silver (2018) medal. Kara has also reached the WorldSkills UK Live final twice and achieved a Highly Commended Award in November 2019.

The Artisan Floral Studio provides gorgeous floral designs for all occasions but specifically weddings, events and funerals. All designs are bespoke and will match your specifications as closely as possible. Kara takes pride in being able to accommodate to all styles and budgets.

Kara has always had a passion for art and the more creative aspects of life and so as soon as she left school she started an apprenticeship in a local florist. Kara decided to gain her floristry qualifications through the more ‘hands-on’ route by gaining her Work-based Diploma in Floristry in levels 2 and 3. She then went on to gain her level 4 Higher Diploma in Floristry at the Academy of Floristry, Bournemouth. Kara hopes to achieve her level 5 Master Floristry qualification whilst running The Artisan Floral Studio.
