Working weekends can be tough when you have a young family, especially when both parents work in the events industry. ๐Ÿคฏ

While some might see having their child by their side at work as a nightmare, I can honestly having Darcey with me is a god send.

At just 7 years old, sheโ€™s the best assistant I could ask for. She helps set up, hands out prizes, engages with the kids, demonstrates dance routines, manages the music, and even greeted guests at the door on Sunday with a cheerful โ€œWelcome to the party!โ€

Tibykidz is starting to be as much about her as it is me. ๐Ÿ˜‰

Sure, she can be a handful at home, but I canโ€™t praise her enough when she joins me to host parties and events. Donโ€™t worry she doesnโ€™t work for free- Smyths trips are common practice in our house ๐Ÿ˜‚

She truly is something special and Iโ€™m so proud of her. What other child gets to say they spend the weekends partying all day. ๐Ÿฅณ

Iโ€™ve noticed a few new faces following me recently, so I thought it was the perfect time for a little โ€œwho am Iโ€ post!

I'm Natalieโ€”the face, business owner, and entertainer behind Tibykidz, which just celebrated its 3rd birthday in June ๐ŸŽ‰.

I have two amazing children: Zane (11) and Darcey (7). Youโ€™ll often spot Darcey in a Tibykidz top at my events, being the best assistant ever! We also have a British Blue cat named Ruby, a very smelly French bulldog named Nala, and of course, not forgetting my long-suffering husband Dean, who also works in the events industry!

Iโ€™m based in Southampton, though Iโ€™m originally from Lymington in the beautiful New Forest ๐ŸŒณ.

Before launching Tibykidz, I spent 14 years as a primary school teacher, working across Southampton. Maybe that's why I absolutely love hosting school discos!

Iโ€™m 41, but when Iโ€™m hosting events, Iโ€™ve got the energy of a 5-year-old on a sugar rush! ๐Ÿ˜„

Iโ€™m incredibly passionate about creating unique, lively, and entertaining parties for all ages (yes, I even do adult events too ๐ŸŽ‰).
