The Coronation of His Majesty The King and Her Majesty The Queen Consort will take place at Westminster Abbey on Saturday 6th May 2023. So everyone at Sandra's can get involved and witness this historic event the shop will close Friday 5th 5.30pm and re=open on Tuesday 9th May 8.30am . With the rest of the nation, we are so deeply saddened to hear the news of Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth's passing. She was an inspiring presence in all our lives, she led this country with grace, decency and genuine warmth.
Queen Elizabeth has been part of all our lives since childhood to this day, and will be missed so very much. Rest in Peace dear Queen Elizabeth.

Wow ! we are all wilting in this hot weather 😎 . Here are a few tips to ensure your vase of flowers stay as fresh as possible.
* Keep vase clean, as warm weather can encourage certain bacteria that destroy your beautiful stems.
* Fresh water and flower food and trim 2cm off bottom of stems every couple of days.
* Spritz your blooms occasionally to help maintain hydration.
* Keep out of direct sunlight .

Its Daffodil season, a vase of these bright blooms will cheer any room. Always keep daffodils in a separate vase as the sap they emit can be harmful to other flowers particularly Tulips . If you would like to have them in a vase with other flowers just leave them on their own overnight rinse the stems then arrange with other flowers. As always try to find a cool spot for them.

Tulips ! Look great on their own or mixed with other spring flowers. To keep Tulips fresh in your vase, change cold water daily and re cut stems on an angle (to give more surface area) every two days. Flowers kept in a cool location will last longer. Your Tulips should last about 5 days.
