What is a Hand tie?

Hand ties are arranged in the hand by the Florist, the stems are spiralled in 1 direction, then cut & wrapped in cellophane. Water is added to the cellophane wrapped around the stems then placed in a gift bag or box. The hand tie after a few days should be taken out of the bag of water, stems re cut at a slant and placed in a vase of fresh water & flower food
