Following an epic weekend with our latest fundraiser and community Christmas spirit we have had some lovely feedback we wanted to share...

If you missed the Copythorne Parish Christmas tree festival then you missed a treat . It was a true representation of what a community can do when led by Barbara Smith and an enthusiastic team.
The Parish hall was a spectacular sight with Christmas trees decorated by so many groups displaying what they represented.You could appreciate the litter pickers tree beautifully decorated with rubbish! Move round the hall and sparkling trees with whist cards ,with carrots cabbages and fruit from the horticulture club with an amazing display from the flower club from the post office and general store and on it went.Tree after tree.We had the chance to admire 25 amazing trees.It was such a family moment when the parents didnt agree with the childrens choice but fortunately it was a free vote!
There was music ,mulled wine and more.As the festival came to an end the tree decorated with the the 12 days of Christmas theme had just secured the first place.
What an experience!
