Hello 👋

It’s about time I re-introduced myself to my new followers! 😊

I’m Chris, the videographer behind Spice Wedding Films - I don’t just film pretty videos, I capture memories and deliver films that get more and more valuable over time. The pure joy. lost moments, fleeting glances, happy tears; all the bits you see and all the bits you missed, captured just as you felt it.

Outside of work you’ll normally find me travelling, and we do A LOT of that. In the last couple of years we’ve seen everything from skypools in Dubai, to the painting-like views of Yosemite, to the rooftops of Santorini and so much more.

With the help of my wife Kate (swipe to see her smiling face), we’ve filmed over 200 weddings and counting - the business wouldn’t be where it is without Kate’s support and the incredible candid shots she captures as a second shooter.

Together, we’re gin drinking, travel obsessed, cat loving, secretly boujie videographers. Every wall in our house is lined with memories from our travels and our time with family and friends, but now it’s your turn to have your memories eternalised, and I reckon we’re the people for the job!

🏆 We won the ‘Highly Commended’ Videographer award at The Wedding Industry Awards!! ✨

We’re so incredibly happy to receive this - it’s a huge boost and a great recognition of the work that wedding suppliers put in every year.

A massive thank you to all of our couples who voted for us this year, even on extremely short notice. Without you, none of this is possible, and for that we are forever grateful ❤️

Also thank you to all the team at for putting on these awards year on year - it must be a huge task but it’s an awesome way to recognise the achievements of everyone in the industry 🙌

Congratulations to all the winners in our region and other regions, there’s really so much talent in this industry in and in our videography category, it’s great to see 🫶

It’s also good to hang out with some friends on the night and we had an awesome night with who are all featured in these photos, plus many many others!

Last week I turned 30 and celebrated in style with Kate in Dubai - watch out for some pics on the stories soon!! We’re now back to work and ready to get some films out to our couples 🥳

We’re also super grateful for this artwork from from a recent wedding, how cool is this! They take photos of your guests on the wedding day and then create these awesome drawings in front of you, a very unique way to add some art to your wedding day!

Hey followers 👋

It’s been a while since we’ve posted a bit about us and we’d love to introduce ourselves to our new followers - we are Chris & Kate and we’re the husband and wife team behind Spice Wedding Films.

The voice of this page is me, Chris, and I started this business almost 10 years ago after filming a wedding for a friend and enjoying it so much.

Kate joined the business soon after as she loves capturing those wedding memories and getting to know our couples.

Together we live with our cats, Bucky & Steve (bonus points if you get the reference with their names), but our current goals are to explore as much of the world as possible, admire the views, taste the local foods and let’s be honest, have a few cocktails at a some all inclusives. In the last couple of years alone, we’ve been to Thailand, Barcelona, Crete, Turkey and various states in the USA, with trips to Vegas, Dubai and Disney World coming in the next few months, and that’s what we love doing.

When it comes to weddings, it’s the happiness, the laughter and the excitement that really grabs us, and I think that comes across in our bright and bouncy films. We love how every wedding is different and the cocktail of emotions and moments comes together to form a perfect story.

Triple trouble! This weekend I filmed 3 weddings with the absolute best mix of people, places and unfortunately, weathers too!

Starting off with Stacey & Matt’s wedding that ended with the perfect sunset, followed by Jodie & Greg’s day where we made the most of the rain by just embracing it! Finally, Adrian & Jo’s intimate wedding in the secret garden at Chewton Glen was just the perfect vibe.

Spice Wedding Films is made up of me, Chris and my partner Kate. Together our passion is to create high quality wedding films for couples, and make the whole process a great experience for our couples.

The biggest regret of brides after their wedding is not having it filmed. Wedding videography is becoming a staple in the list of things to book and although it can sometimes be bottom of the list for some people, you only have to speak to someone who had their wedding filmed by someone great, and they will tell you how much it means to them. Don’t be the bride or groom who regrets only getting a photographer and no videographer!

We use the latest, cutting edge equipment which we try to keep as small as possible so we are discrete on the day, and we guide you through the process so that you get the most out of it, and get the video you really want.

Spice Wedding Films has come so far in the 5 years we have been active, and we’ve filmed over 100 weddings. I’m grateful for all past clients and excited to see some more amazing weddings!
