I’ve just made and delivered this dried flower and foliage wreath, for a family to use as a funeral tribute. It is completely compostable. It can, however, hang on a wall for a while. A lovely alternative to the traditional tribute.

It’s always an honour to be asked to make a funeral tribute for someone. This is one of my favourite things to do as a florist. It can be a real comfort to the bereaved person to have a bespoke creation to say farewell with. It can be extremely meaningful. And it should be whatever is most appropriate to the family.

It has begun!
So excited to be swagging these lovely pillars for a wedding on Saturday. I thought putting up my mechanics so they could be tested by Storm Ciaran was a good idea 😂😂😂
Watch this space for the greenery to go in.
When I did these a few years ago I wasn’t so switched on to how bad floral foam was. I’ve used Welsh moss this year which will go in my compost when these swags have finished their work- which will be after Christmas 🎄
