+++ Horus Heresy: The Solar Shield +++

The dust has settled.

The loyalists are dealt another vital blow. Despite sweeping victories of Corax and his sons, the traitors overran the defenders and breached the transit tunnel to the array.

The shield installation on Orcus now lies in ruin. The loyalists have withdrawn and will regroup in preparation for Horus arriving at Terra.

This is to everyone that has attended, shouted about, enjoyed, gave feedback on, or supported any event we’ve done over the last… *checks calendar* Christ.. 5 years!!

We genuinely appreciate everyone. All of you.

We could not and would not put on events without the relentless, unwavering support you give us.

We have now said goodbye to the Railway Institute for the last time. It’s been a great venue to host events in and it’s going to be missed.

Now we move to the new gaff 😄

We had a blast being part of this, as always!

Who's coming next year? We're already planning the Horus Heresy funtimes! :)

Well...we're back from Beachhead Show 2024 and although we're all exhausted we had a great time!

We were so pleased to see so many visitors, traders, demonstrators and tournament players having the best time too.

The Beachhead Team would like to thank all of those who came, played, helped out and in any way contributed to the success of the show. We could not have done this without you, and want you all to know how appreciative we are.

Now we're back, we 're busy putting the shop back together, planning events and looking forward to the future with renewed vigour!

Horus Heresy: Ruinstorm completed!

Thanks to Beachhead Show 2024 and Entoyment Wargaming for hosting us yet again. Already planning next years fun 🙂

The loyalists nearly did it… but those pesky traitors succeeded in splitting reality and the daemons have spilled forth from the immaterium! Doh.

Congrats to Josh Evans for scooping both the best loyalist army and favourite loyalist player awards!

Congrats also to Aaron Osborn for grabbing the best traitor army award and to Olly Mew for sneaking the favourite traitor player award.

Oh, and Will Henry for successfully collapsing a warp rift! You hero!

Thanks to one and all for coming. We couldn’t do these events without your enthusiasm and support.

On to the next one! 🙂

With Beachhead now within reach we're all super excited to see everyone there! We're packing up the van for it's first load of stuff for the Entoyment stand so please bear with us if you have any queries or orders as it's all going to be pretty hectic either side of the show so we will get round to everything but it may take us slightly longer. We hope to see as many of you at the show as possible, it's gonna be really awesome!

++++ VENUE UPDATE ++++

Good afternoon.

We’ve been a bit quiet recently whilst we sort of the ongoing issues surrounding the closure of the current venue and the legwork required to source a new venue.

We have now found a venue that we like and that are happy to work with us. That venue is the Valley Park Community Centre, in Chandlers Ford (SO53 4ST). It’s approximately 3 miles or so away from the current venue, for anyone that’s been to an event of ours before.

With this move things will change slightly from our usual offerings as we’ve had to be flexible in our requirements, however some things are better for sure.
Firstly, the compromises:

The new venue is smaller. A fair bit smaller. So, with that in mind, events will be capped at 32 players (doubles will be more) from now on.

There is no bar at the venue. However, you may bring and consume your own alcohol on site.

Also, being out of the town centre limits your fast-food options. There is no Greggs close by. :/
Now, the bonuses:

There is now plenty of on-site, free parking!!

There is an on-site kitchen, so bring a mug, we’ll bring the ‘brew kit’ and you will have access to free tea and coffee all weekend.

There is a Tesco Express and a Fish and Chip shop directly across the road, and there is also a pub next door that does pretty decent food.

The EO’s are not required to be at the venue until 11pm (like we currently are!) meaning if nobody wants to stay and play games in the evening, we can finally all join you for food/drinks etc.

A large Asda (with built in McDonalds) is a 2-3 minute drive away. As is the Village Hotel with an attached Starbucks.

100 tickets sold out in less than an hour. Both us and the guys at Greetings From The Warp were blown away by the support!

We promise to make it an amazing weekend.
