This is my children's school 🥰 come and enjoy the day with us. I'm really excited about our first summer fete and so happy to be a part of the PTA for this!! 😍😍🎉🎉

4 weeks to go until the summer fete and I'm getting super excited about it!
We have face painting, sensory stalls, free activities, Essex police, a real life beehive, food, shopping, 50p-a-go games, the big raffle, the teddy raffle, Essex Train Master, a Mario kart competition.... The list goes on!!!
Whose coming?! Invite the town! 🥰🥰

It's only June and this year has been an absolute whirlwind!
I've organised so many wonderful events, been picked up by the local paper, become a bit of a recognisable name around town and amassed over 350 vendors on my books!
We have seen over 8000 people join us at local events since I started arranging events 4 years ago and it's been (for the most part) so enjoyable!

In 2025 I'm going to slow down slightly and focus more on the Christmas events. Here's why:

I work a part time job in town, 5 days a week.
I run events part time, including my weekends.
I have 2 kids.
I own a moderately popular bakery.
I chair the PTA of my children's school.

Where am I finding time to enjoy my family? The answer is that currently, I'm not 😔
The more popular my events become, the more vendors that show interest and ultimately the more admin work I end up doing as people enquire and, dare I say, "mess me around".
It's a very rewarding job, arranging community events, but it's also extremely time consuming. Time I should be spending with my very young family 🧡

I'm very excited to see what the summer events bring and I know Christmas will be a smasher as always.
I look forward to seeing what fantastic ideas we come up with for 2025! 😍😍

The absolutely incredible Revelation has saved our bacon!!
Please bring the kids along to the Southend Spring Fayre 💐 and enjoy some sand art, ceramic painting and crafting from 12pm - 3pm 😍😍

No booking required, just drop in! Refreshments available, over 30 craft stalls and animals to pet on the day also ❤️ what a bumper event!

UPDATE: WE HAVE SINCE FILLED THE GAP WITH Revelation 😍😍😍

It is with great regret that our children's inflatables company has cancelled last minute and we have been unsuccessful in filling this space at the Southend Spring Fayre 💐
It's the first time I've been truly unable to deliver on something at one of my events and I'm devastated.

HOWEVER, we will have all the wonderful little animals here with Reptiles Etc who are outstanding and I know so many of you are so excited to see them, so that's still awesome!

In the meantime, if you happen to know anyone who could fill the spot with any children's activities, please do send them our way!
I have tried every Essex based inflatables / soft play company I can think of - but it's just too short notice.

Just had a conversation with everyone involved in next week's event at Belle Vue Baptist Church and I did not realise there's another venue with a similar name within Southend.
Please make sure you are turning up the Belle Vue Baptist Church on Southchurch Road for the Southend Spring Fayre 💐 next Saturday! 😍😍😅😅

I'm receiving lots of emails this weekend about the new Royals monthly markets.
I just want to clarify that if you are selling things, this means you are not a HOBBYIST. As soon as you start putting a price on your makes, you are a business, no matter how small, and you will always require public liability insurance to be a part of any of my events. PLI protects both you and those buying from you and should always be in place.

If you do not have PLI, you risk fines of thousands of pounds against you and the organiser of the event.

It's been a fabulous year, thank you to all who come and support events and those of you who take part in the events.
In 2024, as has already begun, I will not be accepting any stall holder applications through Facebook. This protects all parties involved.

In January I will post a link to our calendar and available dates for booking. For now, let us rest with the family 🥰
