Divergent thinking means children are able to come up with multiple different ways of solving the same problem in a free flowing, unstructured way of thinking. Our free flowing play sessions and parties allow children to take ownership over their play and make powerful decisions when solving problems. Play is such an important tool in helping children to make meaningful connections with the world around them and it is through these playful experiences that they build the foundation for future learning. What an amazing opportunity we hold in our hands for our little heroes.

Thought I’d take a mo to reintroduce myself as there are a fair few new followers! Thanks for joining us at Nee Naw Parties South East Essex!
Here’s a few things you should know about me:
👦🏼👦🏽 I’m Mummy to 2 beautiful boys (6 and almost 1!).
🎄🎅🏻 I love ALL things Christmassy, it’s my favourite time of year. Although I’m feeling a little sad about the state of my tree currently - I have a very intrigued almost 1 year old! 🤦🏽♀️ At least the top half still looks beautiful! 🤷🏻♀️
📚 I am a qualified primary school teacher which I’m pretty certain gave me the excellent training skills to be able to zone out all the sirens during a Nee Naw Party 😆
Please tell me I’m not the only one with half a beautifully decorated tree?! Or any tips to help the bottom half survive! 😂

At Nee Naw Parties you will see children having huge amounts of fun whilst practising these highly important skills throughout their play. You might see children developing their gross motor skills by driving cars, steering, balancing on the trikes, pushing their feet and legs on the foot to floor cars, pumping the fire hoses to put the fire out, throwing the balls and aiming through the holes of the fire board, using the sponges to give the cars a wash and winding up the petrol pump. Whereas to refine their fine motor skills they could get dressed up, put the PlayMobil characters into the cars, position the people’s arms and legs and giving them the little fire extinguisher props, push the buttons to start the sirens and lights on the cars and complete the colouring pages the children can take home with them. So much is going on at a Nee Naw Party whilst the children are having the time of their lives.

DRESSING UP👮🏾👨🏻🚒👩🏼⚕️ Our dressing up clothes show examples of real life heroes outfits that your little ones can wear to really bring their imagination to life while at one of our parties or play sessions. We choose high quality, realistic outfits so you can use these opportunities to teach your children about who these people are and how they are there to help them. This makes our emergency services feel accessible, friendly and people that your children should trust to help them if they find themselves in an unsafe situation or distress. Through dress up play, children have the freedom to express themselves creatively, experiment with different roles, and explore their interests and identities. We love our free play approach to sessions allowing the children to really lead their own learning through play. We provide a range of styles of dress up outfits shown in the video. They are in a variety of materials in case your child doesn’t like the feel of certain ones. We also have high visibility style jackets for each of the emergency services so that there are quick dress up options for those who are in a rush to save the day! All our outfits are Velcro or elasticated meaning they are easily accessible for all with no tricky zippers or buttons. Role play is such an important element of young children’s learning and when you connect with them through play the lessons they learn are powerful! Which outfit is your child’s favourite?
