Divergent thinking means children are able to come up with multiple different ways of solving the same problem in a free flowing, unstructured way of thinking. Our free flowing play sessions and parties allow children to take ownership over their play and make powerful decisions when solving problems. Play is such an important tool in helping children to make meaningful connections with the world around them and it is through these playful experiences that they build the foundation for future learning. Thought I’d take a mo to reintroduce myself as there are a fair few new followers! Thanks for joining us at Nee Naw Parties South East Essex!
Here’s a few things you should know about me:
👦🏼👦🏽 I’m Mummy to 2 beautiful boys (6 and almost 1!).
🎄🎅🏻 I love ALL things Christmassy, it’s my favourite time of year. Although I’m feeling a little sad about the state of my tree currently - I have a very intrigued almost 1 year old! 🤦🏽♀️ At least the top half still looks beautiful! 🤷🏻♀️
📚 I am a qualified primary school teacher which I’m pretty certain gave me the excellent training skills to be able to zone out all the sirens during a Nee Naw Party 😆
Please tell me I’m not the only one with half a beautifully decorated tree?! Or any tips to help the bottom half survive! 😂

At Nee Naw Parties you will see children having huge amounts of fun whilst practising these highly important skills throughout their play. You might see children developing their gross motor skills by driving cars, steering, balancing on the trikes, pushing their feet and legs on the foot to floor cars, pumping the fire hoses to put the fire out, throwing the balls and aiming through the holes of the fire board, using the sponges to give the cars a wash and winding up the petrol pump. Whereas to refine their fine motor skills they could get dressed up, put the PlayMobil characters into the cars, position the people’s arms and legs and giving them the little fire extinguisher props, push the buttons to start the sirens and lights on the cars and complete the colouring pages the children can take home with them. So much is going on at a Nee Naw Party whilst the children are having the time of their lives.
