You know the summer is over when we are packing away our Tipi’s 🙁. We are already looking forward to the Spring when they will be going back up and a very exciting 2025 season.

Concluding the season, we would like to share an insight into our partnered accommodation - New Moor Farm. Sistered with Southminster Hall, the large Georgian house sleeps twelve and is within just a seven minute walk from the venue. Where do I begin with Southminster hall. I found this beautiful house accidentally scrolling through Facebook last summer and I instantly knew it had to be my wedding venue. I have been looking for years for a venue that gave a personal, intimate yet professional vibe and Southminster hall over-delivered on everything I ever dreamed off.

The house itself has been in the family for generations and they welcomed me and my family into their home and made our wedding day so special.

From the morning in their beautiful bridal suite and then the ceremony option of an outdoor or indoor ceremony, to the reception party. My theme was a festival wedding with amazing food, drinks, music, sunshine and great views. The duo that made my dream happen was married couple Hayley and Rob and nothing I asked for was ever too much. It’s a family run business which includes their sons and parents and everyone was so nice and friendly.

If you’re not sure whether to book Southminster hall I would advise you to book this venue very quickly and you will not be disappointed. I wish I could do my day all over again and not change a single thing.

Roll on our first anniversary at Southminster hall next year, I have wedding blues and miss Hayley and Rob so much so need to plan another party here hehe.

Thank you so much to everyone who took the time to visit us yesterday, on what turned out to be a lovely sunny Open day at Southminster Hall.
It was great to see so many excited new and familiar faces enjoying having a look round and chatting to our fantastic suppliers.
Please except my apologies if we were busy talking to other people but hopefully everyone who came, got the chance to speak to one of the team and answer any question.
