At the weekend the buildings across Southport and Liverpool were lit up in pink light to comemorate the lives of the little girls tragically murdered at the start of the week.
We decided to put a tribute to them in the window of on Lord Street to show support and solidarity with the community of Southport.
Lots of childrens soft toys were loaned for the tribute and it is very much appreciated.
We hope that seeing the cuddly toys in this way helps people to think of the horrific loss to these families and hopefully we can all try to to extend some gentleness, kindness and love to all around us.
Society needs kindness and healing and not some of the reactions that we have seen since this terrible tragedy.

After the horrific incidents at the beginning of the week which has left the usuaĺly quiet and lovely town of Southport in shock, it was heartening to see that Chris' family chose to lay her flowers at the sites of the incident.
I hope they will bring some comfort and a little beauty to people there to show respect.
The responses to what happened in our town has shown the true nature and worth of the community and it is beautiful to witness .
It is truly devastating.
May we never see anything like this again.
Rest in Peace to those special little girls and every healing to their damaged families.

So , yesterday we said our goodbyes to Chris.
Chris was my first flower boss and rescued me from a life in dentistry .
Anyone who knows me can probably tell that I would have been just terrible in that career.
My parents meeting Chris changed all that and she wanted to meet me and gave me a job on the spot.
She was a hard task master and quite a formidable character in a time when many women were not taje seriously in business.
Chris would bever have accepted that and forged ahead in the field of faux flowers , being literally years ahead of the game.
I never realised all those years ago how instrumental that first meeting , or her training ground at The Plant Emporium or The Silk Greenhouse would be for me in my life.
I admitted to her years ago that I was terrified of her when I worked for her and spent as much time as I could keeping myself busy and out of the way.
Her responses told me that she didn't realise how she could be but i was slways aware of her incredibly high standards that she aimed for and that she expected us to as well.
I grew to be really fond of her over the past years that we reconnected and she told me how she was proud of what I've learned and acheived since those old days on County Road in Ormskirk and how it's taken me around the world.
I Hope I made you proud and did you justice this last time with your flowers Chris... i tried to think of you and channel your inimitable style and love of flowers.
It was a pleasure and an honour to be asked to do them by Dan , Josh and Luke.
RIP Chris.
You were truly a force to be reckoned with in life.
Never anything by halfs and I hope that you think your flowers were more than 'ample'.
