Not many people know this, but the French word château is actually derived from two words, cat and cake. Chat, and gateaux. Why we do what we do......

Steven is a father of three, wife to one, and a photographer for all. Steven has had a passion for photography since forever which worked into a career in wedding photography and a good one at that. He has now been a wedding photographer for 15 years, shooting all over the world in so many wonderful locations.

As our family started to grow, we had a great collection of images of our little tribe, but always missing one (the person behind the camera) usually Steven. We realised we needed a photographer who could take memorable images of us as a family. Not in a studio because that wasn't who we are. We wanted it in an outdoor setting where we can be the crazy individuals that we are. We decided this is something that we can offer to other families too so we set up this business, originally called Daisychain Studios, and then more recently changed it to what it is now.

We want to capture you as a couple or family or friends as you are. Laughing at each other, or being who you are best. Moody, crazy, cuddly, jumpy or silly! We want you to look at the pictures and remember what fun you had not that someone told you to pose in a certain way. Yes, Steven will instruct a little bit but mainly let you just be who you are!

You choose the location for the shoot, rural or urban and for an hour or so Steven will follow you taking pictures. Its as simple as that! Steven will also follow the current advice on social distancing. Steven wouldn't need to come too close as he would just be following you all capturing you being yourselves.
