I have always had a passion for flowers, but how did this all begin for me? I was looking for a new challenge, something I would enjoy and could fit around my family life. I had been asked many times to arrange flowers for friends and family, and I loved it when Christmas came as I would see this as an opportunity to go wild with flowers!!! "When someone loves their job it not only shows in their

work but to their attitude to their work." My dream started off after chatting to a friend over coffee, and sometimes the occasional cake!! We both had a strong sense of needing a new challenge in our lives, our children were growing up too fast. We wanted to have something we could get our teeth into, and after much discussion we both had our light bulb moments. At the start I did consider a shop , but after careful deliberation and much to my relief now opted to direct my business from a home studio. I built my workshop with the help of a clever carpenter, and now I have a place I'm happy to welcome clients into for Workshops and consultations. It works for me, and gives me somewhere to go when I have to immerse myself in flowers. This year (2017) I took the plunge to make my next big investment, a suitable vehicle for transporting my precious flowers. So when I deliver flowers for you or to your next big event, keep a look out for me, you won't miss me. 2017 has been a great year so far meeting lots of lovely new clients and I must say my family have been amazingly supportive of my new found love in floristry, my children have suddenly learnt to cook!!! Thank you to everyone who supports me and my business and helps me keep my passion alive, I look forward to offering my services to you all and many new clients for a many great years to come.

What is perfection anyway?

In a world that often celebrates perfection, I’ve come to embrace something far more meaningful—authenticity. Perfection is a moving target, defined differently by everyone, and chasing it can leave us feeling exhausted and disconnected.

What really matters is being real, showing up as we are, and allowing others to connect with our genuine selves. Life isn’t about perfect flowers, flawless days, or always getting it right—it’s about growth, love, and the beauty in imperfections.

Remember, you don’t have to be perfect to be worthy, loved, or enough. Authenticity is what makes life—and you—truly beautiful.

🌸 Let’s celebrate the perfectly imperfect together.

Who’s your Childhood character?

FAREWELL FLOWERS

For me, the act of making funeral flowers is sacred. It’s a privilege to help families honour their loved ones and to provide a lasting memory that speaks to the depth of their connection. I believe that flowers help us celebrate the uniqueness of each person, reminding us of the light they brought into the world.

Remembering those we’ve loved and lost this Christmas Season.

When Facebook asks “what’s on your mind”
Today I’ve been thinking of those special people who won’t be around this Christmas 🎄 time, but will always be in our hearts 💕 and memories.

Make memories with those you ❤️ love so they will always be in our hearts.

I love this little rose bowl I’ve just unpacked- it’s taken me over two years to unpack the last two boxes.
So today I thought I’d put up the tree 🌲- to say it didn’t go to plan was an understatement- sorry Mum now I get why sometimes you didn’t ###

When they die as they do here are my thoughts.

The beauty of flowers doesn’t end when they wilt; it transforms. For me, flowers are a story, and every stage of their life has its own unique magic. I love watching a bloom unfold from its first tender bud, brimming with promise and potential. There’s such excitement in seeing it reach its full glory—bright, vibrant, and alive with colour and texture.

But even as the petals begin to fade and curl, they tell another story. The dried bloom holds a quiet elegance, capturing a memory of its past beauty in soft, muted tones and intricate shapes. It reminds me that life’s beauty isn’t confined to moments of perfection but extends into the places where time leaves its gentle mark.

I treasure the full life of a flower because it teaches us something profound: even in its decline, there’s dignity and grace. The cycle of a flower—from its first sprout to its final dried form—is a reflection of life itself, rich with lessons about impermanence, resilience, and the beauty in letting go.

Will you look at flowers differently now?

Hen do antics don’t have to include lots of alcohol, some include lots of foliage!!

Making a wreath is such a therapeutic experience!
These are some of the Wreaths made yesterday and to say I’m proud is an understatement. Normally people come saying I’m not creative, and go away feeling proud as punch.

Yesterday was no exception, and today I got to see them on the door’s designed for this Christmas 🎄.

Didn’t they do well?

Have you thought about a floral hen do with a difference ?
