Finishing 2024 on an absolute high at with .

2024 for us has been another incredible year for D’vine, for which we are truly thankful.

As always we are immensely proud of our achievements and the team who work so hard alongside us.

It wouldn’t feel right posting this evening if we didn’t take a moment to reflect on our towns tragic events and immeasurable loss this year.

You may remember Millie 🧐

We told you in a recent post about her leaving us for University.

For us Christmas doesn’t just mean lots of Christmas parties and festivities to cater for. It also means our wonderful students come home and want to get back to work! 🙌

Millie’s first shift back was at for who hosted an event to thank everyone for their hard work in helping them achieve The Kings Award For Voluntary Service which is absolutely remarkable!

Succulent snapper fillet, seared with Cajun inspired spices. Paired with sumptuous fondant potato and refreshing mango & avocado salsa and accompanied by braised chicory.

This dish is another popular choice from our seated banquet menu.

We have served this dish as an option on our Christmas party menus for this year and it is already getting rave reviews!

A successful evening for Formby GP.

Last night we hosted our inaugural patient forum meeting at the practice. It was an opportunity for us to update our patients on how we're doing and our plans for developing the service. It was also a really helpful opportunity for us to hear about your experiences of visiting Formby GP. We are hoping to set up a Patient Participation Group next; please do email us on [email protected] if you'd like to take part.

Thank you to one of our patients for the beautiful flowers, which are now brightening up our reception area! Another patient kindly gave us a box of chocolates, which are jeopardising the success of my diet as we speak. In 13 years in the NHS I've never had a single thank-you present (though I have had a handful of cards). One of the joys of private practice is having enough time with patients to get to know them properly and really address their needs.

D'vine Catering provided the canapés, which were delicious - my favourite was the Moroccan chicken! They were a pleasure to work with and we will be sending business their way again.
