A successful evening for Formby GP.

Last night we hosted our inaugural patient forum meeting at the practice. It was an opportunity for us to update our patients on how we're doing and our plans for developing the service. It was also a really helpful opportunity for us to hear about your experiences of visiting Formby GP. We are hoping to set up a Patient Participation Group next; please do email us on [email protected] if you'd like to take part.

Thank you to one of our patients for the beautiful flowers, which are now brightening up our reception area! Another patient kindly gave us a box of chocolates, which are jeopardising the success of my diet as we speak. In 13 years in the NHS I've never had a single thank-you present (though I have had a handful of cards). One of the joys of private practice is having enough time with patients to get to know them properly and really address their needs.

D'vine Catering provided the canapés, which were delicious - my favourite was the Moroccan chicken! They were a pleasure to work with and we will be sending business their way again.

To mark 100 years of , made a very special dessert to mark the occasion 🍋

This was an Elderflower, Honey & Lemon Posset, served with Lemon Custard Biscuits. A dessert that celebrates the vibrant flavours of the garden. It is just perfect for a summer pud as well as for serving to mark 100 years of the show!

It was an honour to be able to work with Jemma and ensure we recreated her dessert exactly.

We served it to hospitality guests throughout the show and the feedback for her dessert was incredible!
