🤍FLOWERS FOR AN EVENT… we have spent the last few days creating an abundance of the most elegant florals in decadent whites & greens for a 5 day celebration.. strictly confidential so I can’t where etc, but I was so pleased I managed to get 55 white hydrangeas from an English grower and the majority came from our field inc some roses, the scabious which is thriving and alchemilla mollis which was the back bone of all the designs… all came together to give a that timeless old English country home style, so beautiful 🫶.With 2 weddings to create for as well, thank you to my team for all their hard work! #roses#english #englishcountryhome#eventflowers#white#green#flower#june#celebration

Sara, an experienced drawing teacher will guide you through techniques to capture the unique nature of the flowers you have selected through a relaxing and uplifting afternoon. This drawing session is suitable for all levels of artistic ability with an emphasis on enjoyment of the process. You will leave with your lovely selection of blooms, new skills and your artworks.All materials provided, but you may wish to bring along your own sketch book and coloured pencils.Sara Sayer is an illustrator living just a few miles from the Southwold Flower Co. in lovely Suffolk countryside. Sara teaches drawing and has a range of substainably produced stationery which feature garden flowers and wildlife from the hedgerows. apparently it’s described as a biennial or short lived perennial, that is often grown as an annual ?? 🤯… confused? you won’t be alone as this flower has always baffled me 😂 .Anyhow, this is its 3rd crop, so I’m watching to see how long it keeps going 😊This was my Grandmas favourite flower and is also known as Dianthus Barbatus, always flowers in May/june, so a great early crop for flower farmers trying to cover that tricky green gap between spring and summer. Has quite a spicy scent and long vase life, and comes in white, many pink tones to deep wine red and one of the easiest to grow… even if your not sure how to treat it 🤔#sweetwilliam#flowerfarm#flowersfromthefarm#britishgrown#southwold

🪴IKEBANA MASTER CLASS yesterday was truly wonderful, peaceful and inspirational… we learnt so much from Erica who was trained in Japan and she taught us the history and the art of ikebana that was absolutely fascinating. Ikebana is about bringing nature and humanity together and the fundamentals of design has so much thought put into it that even us flower ladies learnt a new skill which was lovely..🍰 Thank you to the @thebakingjin who supplied us with the most aesthetically pleasing Asian chiffon cake which matched the vibe of the day and was a welcomed bite at the end of the workshop. .🪴 Thank you to all that came, we hope you enjoyed it as much as we did … photographs to come of all the amazing masterpieces🙌 #ikebana#masterclass#japan#flowers#saturday
