We have been running, continuously (other than during Covid), since May 1979. Even then we continued over the internet thanks to Zoom sessions.

Currently we run monthly on the first Wednesday at the South Holland Centre in Spalding Market Place at 8.00pm. Spalding folk club has been running continuously since 1979 - and a couple of the original members are still with us. We had a great time at Spalding Folk Club last night with Australian-based guests We Mavericks holding us spellbound with their lush harmonies underpinned by skilled and sympathetic musicianship on guitar, fiddle and mandolin. We were delighted to see the room filled with an appreciative audience; the floor singers were brilliant and the icing on the cake was a song by Winter Wilson from the floor. Thanks Kip & Dave. We were so pleased to have so many people turn out to support us - give yourselves a hefty pat on the back :-)

We are delighted to welcome the folk duo We Mavericks as our guest artists on Wednesday 4th September. Lindsay Martin from New South Wales, Australia and Victoria Vigenser from Auckland, New Zealand bring their antipodean vocal harmonies and fine musicianship all the way to our northern shores.
