We are a small, but busy business providing all the ingredients you need for a successful garden party or wedding. We hire party tents,
marquees to seat up to 150, tables, chairs, cutlery, crockery, glasses, heating. We have a large range of vintage china available, traditional fairground games, sweetie carts and disco equipment also for hire.

IMPORTANT NOTICE

It’s with a heavy heart that I let you know that i am going to close Tilly’s Marquees, Tilly’s Event Bars and Party games with immediate effect. Since Nick’s death I’ve been struggling with the reality of continuing to manage our business with the impact of grief on my two daughters and myself.

It is extremely difficult to give our customers the 100% attention they deserve when as a family we are feeling so shocked and devastated.

For the wonderful people who have booked with Tilly I will be in touch in due course to return your deposits and recommend alternative suppliers to help you where I can.

My thanks to everyone who has supported Tilly’s, Nick and our family over the years. Customers and our wonderful team of staff -

Our couples always ask us this question and laugh!

“How big do I need?”

This the most important question and we always answer the same way - “how many guests do you want to seat and how many additional guests will arrive later?”

Often referred to as day and evening guests, this lets us calculate the seating area for a marquee and how much to add for guests arriving later.

We always include space for a dj and a dance floor in our quotes - not all marquee companies do!

A rough guide is 1 square metre per seated guest as a minimum. So 100 guests would work out to a 9m (30ft) by 21m (70ft) with dance floor.

Some tables need more room, some less - so we’ll send you a floor plan so you can see how your choices fit.

Remember some marquee companies will quote you the smallest possible marquee (to get the lowest price) and push it up in size after getting your booking.

It’s a great question, I mean, surely it's a lot more involved than just booking into a wedding venue, right? The answer depends on two things…

Firstly, how much do you want to get involved? The more you want to be involved, the better a marquee can be for your special day. Don’t worry though, our team will be there to do all the heavy lifting for you if you decide.

Secondly, it depends on who you choose as a marquee company. Some marquee companies are just there to put up and take down your marquee. Here at Tilly’s we’re different and will guide you through the whole process of planning your big day and deliver everything just as you envisage.

As we wash the from the glasses and turn out the office lights on an absolutely year, we’d like to wish all our customers a very Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year!

Our Media Team will be available everyday with the exception of Christmas Day, and they’ll be able to quote, take bookings and arrange home visits.

All customers with deliveries and bookings over the next two weeks will already have their designated contacts and we’ll see you as planned.

We’re open again at 10am on the 3rd of January.

We’ve done so well this summer - hardly an install in the rain, but as the school holidays end, it looks like we’re not going to be so lucky!

Every Tilly marquee comes to life when you add people!

Live music from the incredible #fufusailors last night at The Grange Barn, Morton for Sophie and Lloyds wedding. Wonderful to see so many people on the dance floor! Our happy little business has built it’s reputation on doing a great job at an affordable price. We like to focus on one big wedding a week in the summer and provide lots of smaller marquees and party tents for corporate events, garden parties and private celebrations all throughout the year.

Our team has a “right first time” focus and we’ll be satisfied when you are. It’s a simple philosophy which drives us to make brilliant products, creative ideas and hundreds of happy customers.

Our traditional games hire business is a success in its own right and we have the largest selection of garden, fete and carnival games anywhere in the country. Our clients love our Barker service to engage guests and make playing easy.

Our styling and prop hire team love making bespoke decorations and bring your ideas to life. The team will work with you to inspire you and deliver just the look you want at a cost effective price.
