Beautiful food, beautiful room, beautiful day celebrating the wedding of Ben and James last week.

First, a picture of their starter, tuna tataki on a black rice and edamame salad, with whipped wasabi guacamole and a black sesame cracker, ready to be dressed as it goes to the tables.

Second, the stunningly styled room, expertly organised by and , two geniuses at work executing things to perfection.

Here’s a detailed explanation about how we put some of our new dishes on our menus:-

1) clients ask for something bespoke for their party
2) we make it for them.

That was the extensive process that details how crispy rice with whipped wasabi guacamole and glazed tuna came about as a new canapé, served for the first time last night at an amazing Batmitzvah party.

We pride ourselves on making your event about you, and doing everything we can to personalise any of our menus to suit your likes and dislikes, hopefully coming up with some new dishes for you along the way.

As well this canapé, crispy chilli beef on udon was another new dish created for last nights client’s, which was too popular to get a chance to stop and photograph!

We’re taking bookings now for 2025, 2026 and 2027, and would love to be a part of your special day.

This looks like a bespoke dinner party, and in a way, it was. The twist is though, this is how we like to do our tasting...

This looks like a bespoke dinner party, and in a way, it was.

The twist is though, this is how we like to do our tastings. Instead of bringing you to us, we love coming to your house, let you open a bottle of wine with your nearest and dearest, and enjoy an amazing meal on us, as a little preview of the big day!

We brought two canapés, wlselbej main course options, and two desserts to this tasting on Thursday, leaving everyone stuffed, and excited to see how we were going to execute their menu for the actual wedding.

There’s a moment during every party where you get a chance to take a deep breath, look around, and take in the beauty that months of hard work have been able to produce.

This felt like one of those last weekend, helping to put together Stevie and James’ unbelievable wedding .

This photo was taken in the middle of our sharing platter style main course, with the light seeping into the room from the sunset outside, and was one of those moments that I wish I could bottle and keep on the side for when the more stressful days arrive!

Loved being a part of this amazing event, expertly planned as always by , and I wish we could do it all again!

Some amazing pictures from of a stunning Italian-themed party that we recently catered alongside . Dishes included:-

-Seared rib eye with confit garlic crushed potatoes and salsa verde
-homemade branded chilli and garlic oils for the pasta station
-marinated artichoke hearts and red peppers for the antipasti bar
-pistachio and chocolate cannoli
-pan-fried sea bass on a puy lentil salad with pesto
-polenta bravas with a spicy tomato aioli

Will post plenty more from this event in the next week, but last night we were asked to cater the on Richmond Green.

With 420 guests in attendance this was the biggest job we’ve ever done, but with such a fantastic team, photographed here led by the peerless , we were able to pull it off like we always do, and I couldn’t be more proud to work with such an amazing group of people.

Huge shout to too, who helped run a brigade of 15 great chefs in the kitchen, serving 3 courses bang on time, and up to our usual high standards as if it was nothing.

An amazing experience for all of us to be a part of, can’t wait to do plenty more jobs of this size in the future!

Never the most exciting post, but always the most important.

Delighted to have once again been awarded 5* by the council for our food hygiene processes, now keeping our first class rating for over a decade.

Testament to the efforts of all of the team, but particularly for working extremely hard to maintain my very high standards, ensuring that we can be recommended, and used in confidence by all of our clients!

Some beautiful shots by of an intimate Friday night dinner last week to kick off a family Barmitzvah celebration!

Some new dishes on show including

-chargrilled cauliflower with green tahini, pickled mango and pomegranate
-roasted butternut squash with sumac labneh, hot honey and dukkah
-roasted halibut with a sun dried tomato and basil dressing

50,000 dishes later, including fresh, frozen, Christmas Day and Valentine’s Day meals, here’s a look back at ten of our favourite dishes, shot by the brilliant .

A new canapé for the roster, as we look to hit our challenge of changing up our entire menu this year, whilst of course giving everyone the option of having any of our old favourites!

Chicken liver parfait on toasted brioche, with a tomato and chilli jam, is a beautiful bite to have as part of a canapé reception, and works wonderfully as a plated starter too!

We’ll be photographing a load of our new dishes starting from this week, and are looking forward to taking you all on the menu-writing process with us!

Fantastic shot from behind the bar from Roni’s Barmitzvah on Sunday night, working with the always brilliant .

We love a challenge, and being given a blank space in a corner of a warehouse and being told to build a kitchen to serve 210 guests from, as well as running the bar, was a fun one that the team smashed with flying colours.

Great people, brilliant venue, amazing party.

Amazing night in ‘Harleywood,’ to celebrate Harley and his fantastic Barmitzvah party!

Expertly tied together by , with keeping the crowd rocking all night, this sharing style menu, after one of our classic canapé receptions, kept hunger locked up all night!

Seven years ago today, we (well, not exactly *we*) started building our first ever professional kitchen out of the back of an empty warehouse in St Albans.

In advance of a wedding for 200 next month, we had our clients back in for a final tasting of their feasting/sharing style main courses options, with a load of them pictured here!

-za’atar and sumac crusted chicken
-slow roasted shawarma style lamb shoulder
-honey and harissa aubergine with a pickled mango glaze
-roasted sweet potato and fennel with a sumac, pomegranate and tarragon dressing
-courgette carpaccio with avocado, lemon and mint

All of them, along with four other dishes, garnished with a selection of edible flowers, micro herbs and pomegranate seeds, this is a menu style that always goes down a storm for any type of occasion!

We were fortunate enough to be asked to cater the wedding of some old friends yesterday, so made sure to do it justice with our food service!

All of the stationary was created by the brilliant , who was one of our COVID heroes, helping us design and produce our menus for our weekly at-home ranges.

We’ve had a few smaller buffet-style events in the last week, which offer a great opportunity to cook up some great dishes to fit the theme!

Firstly, some beautiful rib eye steaks cooked on the barbecue for a celebratory bbq dinner, garnished with parsley, a squeeze of lemon, rock salt and our own herb-oil.

Then on Friday, as part of our American style deli night, some Flintstone-style short ribs, cooked for six hours to make sure they fell off the bone, finished with a chilli-bbq sauce as a glaze

Lastly, for a weather-defying summer lunch, we roasted a whole fillet of beef and served it with some rocket, horseradish cream, rock salt, pepper and our favourite herb oil again.

Three great dishes that work for ten people or a hundred people; if any of them take your fancy, we’d love to help out!

Having bought our unit earlier this year, we’d now love to find someone to share it with us!

We have 2,000 square foot of first floor office space, with its own entrance, available to rent to anyone who is looking.

We’re located five minutes north of Radlett, towards St Albans, and can offer the space along with car parking facilities to anyone who is looking for a new home for their business.

Will happily fill anyone’s freezer with brownies if you find us someone who wants to take the space!

We had an amazing time catering for Lily’s Batmitzvah in March.

Working alongside the always fabulous , here is a look at one of three stations from the night, our poké bar, where we served a selection of

-tuna, salmon and miso aubergine
-black and white rice
-mango, edamame, crushed avocado and pickled ginger
-crispy onions, toasted sesame seeds, sriracha mayo and our always popular Thai-teriyaki dressing.

This station is always a massive hit, and we hope to serve it at your next party!

We’ve catered for over 1,500 people in the last month, and whilst I’m always so thrilled to receive lovely comments about the food, I’m equally proud to hear that on every job, without fail, the team putting in all of the hard yards on the floor have been outstanding.

I’ve been lucky enough to have the same core team for nearly 12 years now, working alongside the brilliant , and without her and her team, nothing we can do in the kitchen ultimately matters-they make it all tick.

Certainly not the most glamorous picture i’ll put up, but almost certainly the most important.

As of today, after nearly 18 months of dead ends and legalese frustrations, we own the building that we’ve been so lucky to have rented a part of for the last six years.

Being able to secure the long-term base for the business has been my number one goal since we navigated COVID, so this news is a huge relief, and celebration, all in one.

So many people have helped us here over the last six years that I wouldn’t be able to name everyone, but to all of our chefs, staff, and most importantly clients, thank you for your long-term support, and I’m looking forward to being able to keep doing what we do for you for a very long time, from a place we can call our own.

We were lucky to be asked to cater for two incredible functions this weekend, both of which we’ll have plenty of photos of up soon!

Last night we catered for Jack’s amazing Barmitzvah at the Hive, with a really fun menu of a plated starter, followed by sharing platter main course and dessert.

Whether or not you’re spending Valentines Day with someone you love, make sure you’re spending it with some things that you love, mainly delicious food!

These are three of our favourite sharing style starters that we’re serving up at various places tonight:-

1) seared duck breast with macerated mango, candied walnuts, rocket and a pomegranate and sumac dressing

2) salmon confit with an orange, fennel, dill and tarragon salad, with a spiced orange dressing

3) our favourite tuna tataki with whipped wasabi guacamole, black rice and a Thai inspired glaze

Pick one, two or all three of them to get your night started off right!
