Its like the weather knew we had a wedding happening! Torrential rain right up until they tied the knot, then sunshine for the rest of the day ☀️

The couple kept everything so minimal which is sometimes all you need in the venue! With beautiful florals from Amy Annand to add that pop of colour in each room! 💜

Wild Rover cooked up a storm with their grazing table during the drinks recpeption then their interactive dinner where one person from each table goes up amd collects the dinner for everyone! 🥰

They even had a magician to entertain guests throughout the drinks and some teepees for rhe kids!

This couple opted for an entrance room ceremony and it looked absolutely gorgeous, the light in the room made it feel so bright for a gorgeous summer wedding 💒

Jill from Flora Alba added some beautiful terracotta pots of seasonal flowers grown in Fife and they looked so beautiful 💐Really making the ceremony space look even more gorgeous!

They set up our tattie shed into a games room with things like beer pong and even a Wii!🎮
They also added some other garden games into our stunning orchard!

The floral theme to this wedding was shown throughout lots of decor bits, they even had a gorgeous floral cake!

This New York themed wedding was so fun, what a gorgeous day. The two got engaged in New York and wanted to showcase little bits of New York into elements of their day! The bride even arrived in a NYC taxi!🚖

You could tell this bride was a graphic designer, the table names we have never seen done before and it looked amazing! So creative🎀

For catering they went with Fusion events, this was so fun and different. They set up stalls in the tattie shed and served a street food type meal. They even added the little extra details of printing the couples names onto the desserts ! Such a cool concept & all the guests loved it🍔

A special surprise set up for the couple from some family friends… and it looked gorgeous🧡

Throughout the day they had the talented Amy Rayner playing for their guests and even a margarita truck outside as part of their drinks reception! They also had the amazing Elliot Bibby doing magic throughout the drinks reception & then he stayed and did their MC and put on a wee show before the meal!🪄✨

A beautiful couple, a Scottish bride and a Canadian groom, brought their unique cultural flair to their special day. They added a charming touch by hoisting a Canadian flag next to our Scottish one on our outdoor flag post🇨🇦🏴󠁧󠁢󠁳󠁣󠁴󠁿

They were so creative and did all their own decor, creating such a unique setup. The entrance was filled with beautiful candles, leading through to the long shed where they set up photos and tea lights and other bits to make the space their own 💙

Wild Rover was their caterer and they set up a beautiful grazing table next to our tractor, which looked delicious!The couple also worked closely with wild rover to create a menu never done before for themselves and their guests!

A first for us - the bride's transport to the venue was on a horse and cart! A surprise from her groom on the wedding morning - good way to get some brownie points before walking down the aisle! 🐴

There was a lot of family helping set up the Byre, with their arch being made by Kayleigh's step dad and all the flower arrangements being made by her godmother - we loved the bright pampas grass look on the high table centres! The maid of honour was also head of organising and MC on the day 🩷

They had a sweet table and mini golf from Go2 Events to keep their guests entertained and lots of photos hanging on the entrance archway and a memorial tree with photos and hanging candles to look at too

Pizzas went down a treat from their caterers for evening buffet before everyone returned to the dancefloor! ❤️

India & James finally had their wedding day after postponing from 2022 due to a surprise baby! They filled the byre with beautiful decor and some gorgeous flowers from amyannandflowers 🌹

They then danced the night away to Indias fathers ceilidh band! How handy 🎵

Kelsey and Sean truly made the most of our stunning Byre venue, incorporating its charm into aspects of their celebration. From their wedding invitations to the details on the day itself, like the elegant welcome sign and personalised table menus, the Byre's influence was beautifully shown throughout 💙

They had gorgeous florals from beewildblooms and personal touches added by the couple such as photos and candles. A standout feature was Sean's creation of his own family tartan, adding a special and meaningful element to their celebration.🏴󠁧󠁢󠁳󠁣󠁴󠁿

The bridal party were driven to the Byre in a VW camper from Ashveil Weddings before a lovely ceremony with all their loved ones 🚗

With a summery colour pallet of oranges and pinks, they had flowers everywhere in wee milk bottles and had lots of little photos and tea lights on barrells and their tables 🩷🧡

Their table names were places that have meant a lot to them throughout their relationship such as first date venue, first holiday and first home address - a really lovely personal touch ☀️

Instead of the usual canapé options, this couple had a pizza buffet! Piping Hot Pizzas made freshly cooked pizzas and nachos - such a hit! 🍕

Gourlay Events served a 3 course meal and then for evening buffet had chips, chicken nuggets and fish fingers - perfect for a dance break!

It comes with great sadness to announce that Sandy, the longstanding owner of Kinkell Byre, passed away on Tuesday 16th July.

Sandy was so highly regarded not only in the wedding industry but to everyone he came across in his business and personal life

He took Kinkell from a cattle and tattie shed to an amazing events venue which has been running for 20 years.

Our love and thoughts go out to his wife Frippy, children Rory, Laura, Kate and Sophie, their families and all the grandchildren.

He was so loved and we will miss him at Kinkell immensely

Seriously though, how happy do these photos make you?! 🌻

Blue Poppy Florist truly brightened the byre with these beautiful floral arrangements! It gave it such a happy, summery feel ☀️

Once Ally & Mark tied the knot, Go2EventHire swooped in and transformed that room into a 9 hole golf course! It went down a treat with the guests ⛳️

Gourlay Events cooked up a gorgeous grazing table for the drinks reception followed by some hearty food for their mains then they had Wild Fire Pizza truck in the evening 🍕

A truly beautiful day! Congratulations guys!!

After torrential rain on the set up day, the sun came out for this lovely couple! They got married at St Salvators and travelled up to the venue for the drinks reception ☀️

As they had the ceremony off site they used the tattie shed for a games room filled by Go2 Events and their spin the wheel game by the bar which was a total hit throughout the night!

Regis Banqueting catered their canapés and a beautiful 3 course dinner before the cake cut (with a sword!) and then a mac and cheese station for their evening buffet 🗡️

Fifty Six Events styled the venue beautifully and the couple added lots of lovely photos - they had a poloriade photo of everyone who attended, such a lovely idea! Amy Annand designed some amazing floral displays and bud vases throughout the venue 💙

They filled the byre with gypsophila and 120 roses on the tables which gave it such a light, elegant wedding feel!

The beautiful couple got married in town before coming to Kinkell greeted by a confetti aisle in the entrance room! 🎊

After meeting in North Carolina and now living in London, these two tied the knot with lots of people they'd met along the way 🩷

With a stunning lilac theme running through the venue, Cath from Blue Poppy absolutely nailed it with her gorgeous blooms and simple table centers keeping everything elegant and timeless 🌺

Rusty's played for the champagne reception and then after the ceremony through until dinner - such a good choice for background acoustic music! 🎶

The bridal car from Classic VW Cars was an amazing backdrop for photos in the sun and the North Carolina flag up alongside the Scottish one was a lovely touch 🚘

We so enjoyed working with this pair who booked and planned their wedding in just 7 months - what a beautiful day! ❤️

We had such a fun day with this couple! 🌞

Amy Annand Flowers worked her magic making the entrance, ceremony, long shed and tables look amazing with some gorgeous greenery and summery blooms 🌺

Go2 Event Hire brought their carnival games package which was a great way to use the orchard garden through the drinks reception - including hoopla, coconut shy and other ball games with a giant deckchair too! 🤡

Lots of photos of the couple were dotted about the venue and they had a lovely crate stack of family photos to showcase love through the generations 📷

They chose to use our new wooden trestle tables which looked amazing to host their 135 guests along with our cross back wooden chairs 🪑

At the end of their main course, they played Bridal Bongos Bingo, which was such a fun way to round off dinner and start the party! 🎉

For pudding they had an ice cream truck set up in the long shed and for evening buffet they booked a pizza truck 🍕

A great day from start to finish! ❤️

We had a gorgeous, bright wedding on Thursday with sunflowers, burnt orange and ochre yellows. BeewildBlooms decorated the Byre with a mix of dried and fresh flowers adding wee vases round the venue and on the table centres to compliment her entrance arch, doorways and ceremony backdrop 🌻

Go2 Event Hire brought lots of games to fill the long shed and their Mr and Mrs light up letters for the dance floor ✨

The couple decorated the venue with lots of photos of them and their family and Odie the dog who was having the best time at the wedding too! 🐶

Instead of a guest book, they had a signing barrel - such a lovely idea for them to then have in their garden to enjoy after the wedding 💒

Music from guests arrival, through the ceremony and drinks reception they had Alex Graham which as always, added a lovely atmosphere to the wedding day

A gorgeous sunny day filled with fun from the ceremony throughout! ☀️

Platter & Pop styled the venue with delicate pink and white blooms, lots of candles and also catered the day with canapés, a beautiful 3 course dinner and evening buffet of pizzas 🍕

They chose our new rustic wooden tables which worked so well in a square format for up to 14 people per table 🥂

Pearls were a theme for this bride; on her veil, her party earrings for when the dancing started and the cake which was baked by her auntie. 🤍

They booked the WooHoo band and organised for one of the singers to arrive early and play through the drinks reception - we love having live music through the day!

We are thrilled to launch our Beekeeping Experience Days in collaboration with the Tartan Apiary who have set up hives at Rewilding Kinkell this summer.

Tartan Apiary Beekeepers are buzzing with knowledge when it comes to these amazing colonies of creatures, their fascinating behaviour and the environment. The day includes getting kitted up in bee-suits, opening up a hive, spotting different types of bees and a tasty teaspoon of honey.
