Hi all, thank you for your patience yesterday and we were so honoured doing face painting for your little ones.
If you see us at an event, please follow this guide on getting an allocation in the queue.
We strongly suggest that everyone to get a ticket so we know you got here first and you are in the queue.
Even there’s only one person in front of you, you will still need a ticket. Unless there were no one having face painting.
Please forgive us, as a public event goes, it can get crowded and rather confusing, and the ticket system is the only way we can get everyone being seen in an orderly manner.
After getting your ticket:
1/. you can choose to stay around, where your child can use our art table to do some drawings and colourings while waiting. And you’ll be seen as soon as it’s your turn based on your ticket number.
2/. If the queue is long, you are free to roam around and come back to claim your allocation in the queue.
It generally takes about 10mins for each child, so you can estimate a time to come back. Though we would suggest you to come back a bit earlier than you expected, so we don’t miss your number.
If we missed your number, we will see someone who is behind you first, but once you are here you will be seen as the next person.
Our queueing system is based on the ticket numbers, this is to help us to combat accidental queue jumping.
Thanks again for joining us yesterday at Buckden Xmas Lights Switch On, and we hope you all had a very good time. 🎄💕
