We had a lovely time in St Neots last week. Massive thanks for Daniel and Catherine for joining me to play some music for flute, cello and piano - We had so much fun (especially in the tango at the end!)
There will be a break from concerts over the summer and then unfortunately I am unable to continue doing concerts every month due to other work commitments. But we are definitely doing Christmas concerts in both venues in December and we'd love to see you all then. I'll keep the website and page up to date with any details.
Thank you to you, our audience, for coming along to the concerts and being so appreciative of our music! We have loved playing for you all!
In the meantime, have a wonderful summer and hope to see you all again really soon!

We had a wonderful time playing for the children at Buckden C of E Primary School on Tuesday morning! The whole school came into the assembly hall to watch and they were a fantastic audience.
We're looking forward to seeing everyone in Cambridge tomorrow morning too for our last concert before the break. I'll be joined by flautist Emma Halnan and cellist Catherine Wilmers and we've got lots of great music to play for you.

It was our St Neots concert this morning and it turned out to be a really special one!
We had a lovely little audience today and half way through the concert, we were joined by an older man who came into the church and sat at the back. It turned out that he had been driving up the A1 when he had received a phone call while driving to say that his first grandchild had just been born! He was overcome with emotion, so decided to turn off the road and he ended up in St Neots. He saw the spire of St Mary's and, being a lover of old churches, decided that he would come in. He sat down just as I was about to play 'Farewell to Stromness' by Peter Maxwell Davies. It then transpired that he was also a lover of classical music and that 'Farewell to Stromness' is one of his favourite pieces of music! It was a really beautiful coincidence and it felt like a real privilege to share this special moment with him ❤️
I am thrilled that next month I will be joined by the wonderful violinist, Cecily Ward. We'll be in Cambridge on 13th June and in St Neots on 20th June. We'd love to see you all there!

We had so much fun this morning at Encore! Loads of great music, a story about a tarantula and a train journey! Thanks to .ephgrave and for their fantastic performances!
Now, I'm back at to accompany 2 pupils in the P***e Musician finals! I'm really looking forward to hearing all 6 finalists - it's going to be a super evening!

We had a wonderful time at Encore yesterday in Cambridge. Dan and Kathryn played us some wonderful music, told us a story and even made the flute sound like a train!

We had some lovely concerts this month. Thanks to Hilary Palmer for treating us to such a variety of music! It's always a great to play in too.
We will be back next month with our guest soloist, Jonathan Harris who will give us a concert of music for French horn and piano. I'm really looking forward to it!
We have slightly different dates to usual as our Cambridge church already had a booking in, so we'll be in St Andrews Street Baptist Church on 7th March and St Mary's Eaton Socon on 21st March. We'd love to see you there! Tickets will be available on Eventbrite soon. Hope to see you there!
