An extraordinary day at Himley Hall with some super quick times and ultimately a one name winner with young Callum winning the U16s event with a super fast time of 22.72 seconds and Old(er) Callum representing Tipton winning the seniors trophy at 25.32 seconds

Bank Holiday Monday at Knebworth winners, Paul was our senior winner all the way from Ireland and yes George did it again winning his second trophy of the two day event. A special mention for William last years senior who was a close second this time around.

Out with the old plastic components on with new metal ones, its a gradual process as vehicles break down, today was a prop shaft ready for the weekend. It pays to have spares.

Todays winners and runners up from Classic Motor Events Ltd Walsall Arboretum show Well done Richard and James our champions and Izzy Jenson and Harrison our junior runners up. What a team. Hope we see some of you soon.

We were back at the Lawns today for the hotly contested Classic Motor Events Ltd Defender Time Trial Challenge, this years junior winner was Lucas with a super quick time of 0.2879, special mention to last years winner Harrison who fell short by just a few seconds with just one attempt and Ted who we all thought had an unbeatable time only to be beaten right at the end. Credit to all competitors for the good spirit shown. Now onto the seniors, Essex Petrolheads Team dominated the event, with hot competition from Simon Lee and last years winner Frankie who we thought had done it again however none of us realised there was a Johnny come lately who stepped up and stole the trophy right at the end with a time of 0.2465 ! Fabulous car club. See you next year!

Trentham Estate near Stoke on Trent was the venue for yesterdays Classic Motor Events Ltd show, it was full on from the start but surprisingly few sub 1 minute times to record, longer than usual grass and damp conditions certainly took their toll on the trucks with several servos needing repair by the end of the day. Come 2.30 we had some notable times in place with Greg taking the seniors trophy with a 24 second time, and a young lad of 7 years old coming in at 39 seconds to claim the under 16s lead!

Repair shop again today, 4 rear difs 1 gearbox and a broken bumper. Nothing we cant take care of , its a little bit trial and error sourcing the right parts but we are building up a good stock now for the future.

What a busy few days Edinburgh , Glasgow and then the long drive down to another Classic Motor show at Himley Hall near Dudley and didnt the sun shine for us, two very worthy winners today and lots more interest in taking up rock crawling with our Defenders. Only a few seconds marked the difference between our fastest senior and under 16 winners , well done both of you but most of all well done everyone that came along and had a go, our next show is in two weeks time at Tretham near Stoke, see you there! "How much a go?" "IT'S FREEEEEEEEEEEEE!"

We made sure Grandad , one of the stall holders, was there to record the very special moment George got his trophy after a remarkable and fastest ever lap time was recorded at Knebworth House Classic Motor Events time trial challenge, he got around our course in an unbelievable 24 seconds not bad for someone who was a newby to RC cars at this event!

Not gonna lie, just got home to Staffordshire and too tired to write a race report about todays amazing action at Knebworth House for Classic Motor Events Ltd , it will come i promise as it was simply brilliant fun today but my notes are buried deep in the kit somewhere, yet unpacked, i hope you enjoyed it, we certainly did and i know our honarary race marshall did too. More to follow soon.

Serious stuff at Knebworth House Classic Motor Events Ltd as the leader board got one of its earlier updates, with faster times coming through right untill the last 15 minutes of the competition our race marshalls were kept busy keeping on top of the scoreboard. It never ceases to amaze us how we end up with sub 1 minute times on our course and mid 30 second winners again today, well done, lets see what tomorrow brings . We would also like to thank the Holdenby House guys who came along to take part today after playing at last weekends event.

Well what a day at Holdenby House for Classic Motor Events Ltd , once again the trucks did not let us down and a real battle for fastest lap followed, especially in the Seniors competition where Terry had had the fastest lap from the very start of the day only to be over taken by John then Terry stepped into the fray taking several seconds off John's lap quickly followed by John doing a hold my beer moment which Terry as much as he tried couldn't quite match. The U16s was won by Josh, with a special endeavour award given to Corran for his never say die approach.
Well done everyone who took part, we hope to see some of you at Knebworth House very soon.

We have been checking , prepping, repairing and comparing vehicles today after 2 days of abuse and hard driving at Donington Park we knew there would be casualties and after thorough examinations of each Defender we have cannibalised one vehicle and replaced it with two out of the repair shop. So more than a full quota ready to go at Holdenby House this Sunday.
