We had a wonderful “yes” to the dress this morning, with the lovely Ellen and her bridal party!

It was so lovely to meet you Ellen, and I’m thrilled you found your dress with me. It was such a pleasure to be with you, you are a real joy!

As the dark nights are starting to arrive, I’m already thinking of Christmas. Leigh Ingham (MP) has recently launched her first ever Stafford Small Business Awards and is asking everyone to nominate their favourite business. The business must be in Leigh's constituency to quality.

You have until 5pm on 31 October to submit your nominations. The winners will be announced on Friday, 5 December.

There are several categories such as Best Independent Retail, Best Café, Business of the Year, Best New Business and Best Town Centre Business.
