Sugnall was pleased to host the Stafford Players in the Old Billiard Room for their Murder Mystery, A Vintage Murder. 82 people attended over two nights, with those who correctly deduced the murderer's identity winning champagne, chocolates and Sugnall Apple Juice!

When rambling through Sugnall woodland walk you will come across remnants of what was once a designed landscape. Including mature trees, fish ponds and the 18th Century St Catherine’s Well.

The Winter bedroom.

Traditionally the Winter bedroom (formally known as the Master Suite) was named as it was located above the kitchen and more importantly the AGA. Country house kitchens were very often the only warm space throughout the colder months in larger houses such as Sugnall Hall. This room boasts an original half tester bed and is one of the larger suites. The en-suite has both a walk in shower and a separate bath.

This room would normally be reserved for the head of the house.
