That’s another gig-filled year all wrapped up and another one ahead of us, which promises to bring new songs, new venues but still the same winning mix of the very best Indie Rock n Roll anywhere around.

Another week and another new venue... next Saturday we’re at The Crown in Rugeley and we’re going in hard again.
It’s our penultimate gig of the year, don’t expect any Xmas songs coz it’s too f*ckin early but we’re having another TMI party and you’re all invited.
So dust off your parka, practice your best Liam Gallagher swagger and meet us at the bar!
We’d heard The Hen House was a good gig, but we really weren’t expecting that!

as we proudly shared last week, we’ve been unexpectedly nominated in the “Covers Band Of The Year” category by Our Staffordshire News
It’s worth noting that less than 2 years ago this line up barely existed and back then we were hurriedly pulling things together to play the first of many, many fantastic gigs since then.
As out-of-the-blue this nomination might be, we all know it Is well-earned and well-deserved and that 20 Mile Island is a damn good indie covers band with some damn good fans, friends and followers!

Back after a 3week gig break last night to play what was without doubt one of our most enjoyable and what will be one of our most memorable ever gigs! Full credit and thanks to Enuff Music and The Swan, Stafford for putting together a truly amazing event, all in the name of live music!
A load of love also to the to the brilliant and beautiful crowd that filled the courtyard and packed the dancefloor from the first song to the last, if was great to see so many new faces mixing it up with the fast-growing TMI army of friends and followers.
We honestly can’t overstate how incredible the whole night was for us, and to bands and fans of live music we can only recommend you get along and get involved with future events, 20 Mile Island certainly plan to do so!
The weather report’s in and it’s saying hot hot hot for tomorrows gig at The Swan, so bring your shorts and your dancing shoes for a proper indie shindig

We knew that would be a great gig, it always is at the Samson Blewitt in Hednesford 😎 but it’s fair to say that tonight was The Best Yet!!
Really solid crowd and really nice to see so many new and familiar faces. Always appreciate as well how well we are looked after by Simon and his incredible team behind the bar, looking forward to being back with you again soon!
Next stop for the band is our eagerly anticipated debut at the much loved SwanLive Music Event at The Swan, Stafford Friday 26 May!
Whilst you’re all no doubt still enjoying what remains of this Bank Holiday weekend, it doesn’t mean you can’t start planning for the next one!

Well… what a year 2022 has been for us! We’ve played some amazing gigs in some amazing venues and met some amazing people along the way! But 2023 is already shaping up to be amazinger!
