Sorry its been a bit quiet on here while we moved house etc... Put Wednesday 31st January 2024 in your diaries as we have 2 amazing American musicians (one Grammy nominated and one a band member of an international recording artist) coming to Staithes...More detail to follow shortly.

House Concert Whitby Friday 5th February 2016 -suggested donation to include food £10 -The Carrivick Sisters are pick of the crop'. - The Telegraph.The Carrivick Sisters from South Devon are one of the UK's top young bluegrass and folk acts. Twins Laura and Charlotte perform their original songs and instrumentals along with a few carefully chosen covers on guitar, mandolin, fiddle, dobro, and clawhammer banjo. Their busy touring schedule is rapidly building them a reputation for engaging and entertaining live performances with tight sibling vocal harmonies and multi-instrumental virtuosity.

Musicport's first house concert in 2016 will feature The Carrivick Sisters - put 5th February 2016 in your diaries now ...( due to a bit of structural work having been done we can now host them at our house in centre of Whitby)

For you information we'll be serving a traditional vegetarian Gambian dish with rice and homemade flatbreads at next weeks house concert with Katus & Yankuba Conteh-(i supect it's probably vegan but need to check)

Katus was recently Awarded "BEST PERFORMER" of Buxton Fringe Festival and nominated for "Best Show"
