You ask us - where does your inspiration come from?

It’s all around us.

The season is our ultimate muse. We choose the freshest flowers that are thriving in the moment, which ensures every occasion table is finished with perfect harmony. Honestly, we can’t pick a favourite season; each one has its own unique charm. How about you? Do you have a favourite?

Our event tablescapes and floral designs draw directly from the beauty of their surroundings, whether it’s a grand estate or the colour of a ripened apricot. We love translating these natural elements into one-of-a-kind event designs. Do you feel the same way - deeply attuned to the details around you?

For a recent alfresco event at the stunning , we were inspired by the on-site flower farm and the Hall’s exterior. We combined terracotta textures, soft peaches and apricots, and rich blackberry tones to complement our signature floral style, creating a warm, understated tablescape that perfectly captured the essence of the season. Perceive floristry as Art, not craft. We create floral pieces with artistic approach and mindfulness as a cornerstone. Every stem is there for a purpose - to complete the vision, not to “add volume”

Here it is not about using anything that “lasts longer” or is “budget friendly” - much like a Michelin star chef would never have GMO vegetables in his ingredient list.

We paint with flowers, with endless gratitude to nature. We embrace the seasons and celebrate them in all our designs, with a responsible approach to environment (there isn’t a single brick of oasis in our studio)

We create bespoke floral experience for our clients, be it a tiny posy or a grand wedding celebration, and proud to be a different sort of florist. Tablescape creating with horticultural medium - using way beyond just flowers:

To enhance seasonality we tend to source lots of natural elements far wider rather then just the perfect blooms - fruit, vegetables, berries, moss, mushrooms, honeybee combs, and many more - to bring the garden to the table.

Here: a perfect pairing of an apricot with patterned table linen, tableware in same hues by and terracotta accents.

Unbelievable but true - this Friday will be a month (!) since the Atelier was open. So many kindest words and wishes, such a warm welcome from local community, local flower farmers and flower friends from near and far! Ofirst private occasion in England, fully designed, planned and executed by at the most stunning . We were beyond lucky to make the début at the venue that has such a profound and beautiful ethos , being committed to locavorism and sustainability in every decision the owners, Barbara and Giles, make every day.

Inspired by the flower farm being part of the Keythorpe as well as the exterior colour of the Hall itself we selected a mix of terracotta textures, peaches and apricots and blackberries as a medium to compliment our signature flower style, and peach foliage for creating an al fresco table scape. All warm, toned and understated.

At Ode to Joy Flowers, we’re thrilled to share our collaboration with Keythorpe Hall, a partnership rooted in sustainability and exceptional experiences. Keythorpe Hall, known for their commitment to fully natural gardening methods without the use of herbicides, artificial pesticides, or fertilisers, provided us with the freshest, most flavourful produce for our opening event. We’d love to share more about the edible flowers that made our event so special. Stay tuned as we reveal their names and flavours!

Keythorpe Hall’s stunning flowers not only graced our floral displays but also adorned the exquisite canapés and drinks, taking the presentation and design of our special evening to the next level. Their dedication to growing exceptional quality produce means every flower and ingredient is chosen with care.

Swipe to see one of the highlights of the event - the frozen flower champagne bucket! A breathtaking and unforgettable touch that all our guests were talking about! Additionally, summer drinks decorated with the prettiest flowers delighted us all, adding a beautiful and sophisticated element to the celebration.

The secret to our beautiful canapés was the exquisite edible flowers and produce from Keythorpe Hall, remember to save for inspiration:-

Garden Plate: Asparagus, radish, and purple pea with sunflower butter, topped with wild rocket flowers.

Summer Drinks: Adorned with sweet rocket and cornflower.

Cheese Plate: Toasted seed cracker with Spenwood cheese, quince, and pink cornflower.

Pavlova: Mixed garden berries and cornflowers.

Frozen Flower Ice Bucket: Filled with peonies and roses.

With over 10 years experience as a floral designer, Yana has recently moved to England to start an exciting new chapter. Renowned in the U.S.A for her exquisite floral designs for private events, weddings, and special occasions, Yana is now bringing her talent to Stamford, Lincolnshire.
