"We had our wedding on 12th October 2024 and we were looking for a vocalist to play at our church ceremony and then at our venue. We found Abi’s profile and watched her videos, we were blown away by her guitar playing and vocals. On the day of our wedding she was so professional and arrived in plenty of time even though it was a long car journey for her (which we appreciate).

Abi played at our church ceremony and venue and it made our day so much more special, we had endless comments off guests of how amazing she was, and as we were being whisked away for photos for a lot of the drinks reception, we were still able to be blown away by Abis music through the corridors and outside.

We would recommend Abi in a heartbeat to anyone, we had so many amazing comments about her and she exceeded all our expectations in making our wedding even more special.

"We were so thrilled to have Sound City play at our wedding. Not only are they fantastic musicians (great players, brilliant vocals, broad repertoire and by God, those harmonies), but they're also such lovely and accommodating guys, not just in the build up to the wedding, but of course on the day itself, during which they were incredibly helpful and flexible when (as inevitably happens) set timings and things had to be slightly revised last minute. My wife and I are so grateful to the band and cannot recommend them highly enough!"

"The quality of the King of the Swing's performance was everything that we could have hoped for – and much more. The band was prompt and quick to set up, flexible in terms of timings, easy to communicate with - and their sets/music were fabulous, with a real energy to them. While some took to the dance floor, even more guests were happy dancing in their seats and just enjoying it. It is always an immensely complex evening to organise, and this is the first time we have had live music. We have had universally positive feedback from guests, particularly in regards to the the music. We would be happy to welcome the King of the Swing back again for 2025's event! Thank you."

"Mariachi Fino were amazing, we couldn’t have had a nicer couple and it was just what we wanted as a surprise for our daughter. She was supposed to get married last year in Mexico and we had booked the one thing she really wanted, the mariachi band. Well when they came round the corner and to their surprise saw Mariachi Fino, it was amazing. Such a lovely touch to a half Cotswolds half Mexican wedding. The music, their costumes, their friendliness it was all superb. Mexico is our go to place and we know the music, so when we were singing and joining in dancing I think mariachi Fino appreciated it and could see we were really enjoy their music. It was AMAZING from beginning to end, all the guests loved it and said without them it wouldn’t have been the same. We were so pleased I can’t thank you enough and Mariachi Fino. Certainly a band people won’t forget, for the right reasons. 💃🏼"

"We hired the 5-piece Halcyon band for our wedding of 120 guests and they were truly amazing! The performance, vocals, song selections were so good, everyone was on the dancefloor all night and it was never empty. We would highly recommend Halcyon to anyone thinking of booking them for any function, we are so happy with our choice.

"We hired South West Ensemble for our wedding at Folly Farm last week & they played beautifully. We chose them for their varied repertoire & played a perfect mix of covers of songs from Abba to Blink 182 , McFly and Adele. The Ensemble arrived on time, got set up quickly & played for 2 hours. A big thank you as the music was a big hit with our guests & was such a special touch to have the sound of the strings accompany such a big moment in our lives. Thank you!"

From communicating with Will at the start of the process and answering all my 100's of questions throughout the process, they were fantastic. To then dealing with Cafe del Sax, again planning playlists, their set up, everything was impeccable. "What to say. The Chaser Quarter were sensational! Firstly, just really lovely guys, and completely the vibe you would want at wedding - fun, self-sufficient but spectacularly good! The band accommodated our first dance preference and did it beautifully - they then set fire to the dance floor. A first set of swing numbers was followed by a second of more modern classics. The combination of the energy and joy they brought to their performances but also impressive musicianship created an uproarious atmosphere! We also got the sense they were remarkably good at reading the room - taking a step back when (the very few times) things got a bit quieter as people were taking breaks, but then ready to take centre stage whilst bringing the audience with them. We’ve been asked a few times what exceeded my expectations at the wedding - and our first answer is always the band! 10/10, couldn’t recommend highly enough!"

A good choice of artists and we were so pleased with our choice of Roman Burns who stood out to us during the process of choosing a singer/guitarist but his performance at our wedding was outstanding, surpassing our expectations! He is a true musician, making each song his own. He was also very approachable and made our wedding evening truly memorable - a special moment to see a 92 year old family member dancing to ‘Rock Around the Clock’ and more….. We would highly recommend him and hope he achieves the success he deserves following his own musical career."

"Flux played our wedding and were absolutely fantastic. Their sound is brilliant - from the vocals to the sax, guitar and percussion. I don’t think our dance floor was ever empty whilst they were playing and everyone commented on how brilliant they were!! They offered a huge range in their repertoire - literally songs to suit all tastes! Our first dance was absolutely fab!! They are also happy for you to choose your own playlist from their repertoire. Thank you so much for playing our wedding, we can’t recommend you enough and I will 100% be booking again if I ever do another event and will be telling all my friends booking weddings to consider using you!"
