We are not a Barn, Hotel or Estate, we are ASHFIELD HOUSE. When couples take over exclusively for their wedding day, our house becomes like their home and we become like their extended family! Our house is a gorgeous blank canvas for weddings, it is grand yet homely and is jam packed full of quirky details (old and new) yet somehow manages to soak up the personality of each couple. The atmosphere

here is full of love and joy, probably because of the absolute legends that make up our wedding team, busy doing their dream job day in day out! Our house and our team are laid back, fun, creative and wild – but not so hipster your Nan wont approve! We are not normal… being an independent family business means we let couples do their thing without a load of rules getting in the way. We love drinking coffee and brainstorming about how to make weddings awesome – and with a layout designed specifically for weddings, mind blowing in house catering and 15 guest bedrooms we really do ace it. We can host 120 guests for a ceremony and sit down dinner and up to 220 for evening receptions

Shameless brag, we’ve won the UK’s best venue (town/city) 2017, 2018 and 2019 and for 2020 we are living the dream as judges! 13 awards in 3 years can't be wrong! We never stop evolving, much like Madonna Queen of Reinvention, we close each year to redecorate, renovate and populate our house with very lovely new things. We’re chuffed our page has found its way to you but fear not, if we aren’t your cup of tea (or the cracker to your cheese) we wont be doing the hard sell. Although lets be honest, you’d be crazy not to at least come for a nosey, right?

Our house is your house, we try our best to make you as comfortable as possible so you have the most wonderful time.

"I just wanted to send a message to say a big thank you for everything that you have done to make our wedding day so special and memorable. You went above and beyond to ease any nerves and by the end of the evening I felt like you were a friend.

We initially booked Ashfield in January 2018 and have been to many open days. We loved the venue from the first time we saw it and we are so glad we finally got our special day. Our wedding day was postponed twice due to covid but it was most definitely worth the wait.

I have suffered with severe seizures for 18 years now - and one of the biggest triggers is flashing/moving lights/camera flashes. It is rare that I am able to enjoy a special occasion because of these risks but you made sure that I was safe at all times and nothing was too much trouble (even removing dodgy lightbulbs)! This means more to me than you will ever know.

Every staff member was so welcoming and checked in regularly to make sure everything was okay. They even brought turkey and beef out for our dog! I have attached some pictures of staff that were happy to join in our TikTok sunglasses trend!"

We think staying over at Ashfield House is a bit special, we have 15 charming bedrooms upstairs each one has a personality of its own, some sassy ones, some classy ones and some quirky ones but they all come with everything our house guests need for a comfy stay - to rest those party feet!

And every overnight stay includes a big cooked breakfast and copious amounts of freshly ground coffee, where our guests tend to share the stories and laughs from the night before.

Getting married is arguably the most important part of your big day and it deserves a spectacular space! ✨

Our Ceremony Room is the most exciting blank canvas. It has wonderful power to adapt itself to any kind of theme or colour scheme, traditional or contemporary, rustic or polished, or maybe even a bit of everything!

We are not a Manor, Hall or Estate. We are not a Barn, Hotel or Estate, we are ASHFIELD HOUSE. When couples take over exclusively for their wedding day, our house becomes like their home and we become like their extended family!

Our house is a gorgeous blank canvas for weddings, it is grand yet homely and is jam packed full of quirky details (old and new) yet somehow manages to soak up the personality of each couple.

The atmosphere here is full of love and joy, probably because of the absolute legends that make up our wedding team, busy doing their dream job day in day out! Our house and our team are laid back, fun, creative and wild – but not so hipster your Nan wont approve!

We are not normal… being an independent family business means we let couples do their thing without a load of rules getting in the way. We love drinking coffee and brainstorming about how to make weddings awesome – and with a layout designed specifically for weddings, mind blowing in house catering and 15 guest bedrooms we really do ace it.
