Every day we explore a new learning challenge.
The curriculum is designed to work at the pace of each student in Horse Knowledge and Care, Riding, Lunging and Riding and Road Safety depending on each students chosen pathway.
This is Chloe learning how to safely use clippers. This isn’t just about clipping a horse, it’s about planning ahead including creating a safe environment, equipment checks, appropriate PPE, dynamic risk assessments and finishing up. All transferable skills in preparing for adulthood.
The learning journey with Equines is vast and provides a positive learning opportunity to the 1 in 5 children not attending school on a regular basis.
