It’s Tuesday ☺️ so it’s time for the Tuesday Moon Post🌙

I wanted to share this floral Impressionism piece… it’s damaged from YEARS OF LOVE. However, this is quite possibly the first ever piece of art i did in life at about 5/6 years old maybe 🤔. I’m not 100 percent sure. But being creative has been a life long passion.

I’ll be active today while travelling across to Devon for a fun packed week of my Twin sisters wedding but here to chat!

Hello all,

I hope you are all doing well! I wanted to put out this post to announce something new coming to what I do. Some of you may know but 5 years ago myself and my sons lost their dad to su***de this led me to absolutely throwing myself into campaigning to make changes for my children and many families in the same position as us. Grief stricken with absolutely no support being offered by services that offer therapy etc. I even had a petition going to try and form a law (it’s still active has over 3000 signatures but still not enough) for the emergency services to have to signpost support to individuals affected by su***de within in 72 hours. I just had to wing it with helping my small children through grief and I still to this day believe this can and will be changed.

Art has ALWAYS been my passion, my expression and my personal therapy when I need to zone out from the stresses of anything. I really believe it’s the same for many, many creatives. I did win an award in 2020 for that campaigning with The Family Network for the cause that was called Off 2 the Moon I never really celebrated it as I didn’t feel like I’d helped enough people by reaching the goals. I had hopes of setting up a retreat for affected families and individuals.

So I’m introducing TUESDAY MOON to SLH Art Gallery. It’s a safe space for those affected by grief, su***de and mental health. I’m naming it Tuesday Moon because well I hate Mondays and love the Moon to be honest, my dogs even named Luna. The Moon is also where to this day my boys decided that’s where their daddy went (their little minds made that up trying to process it) and say he’s lighting the night sky for everyone.

I’ll do a live video or active post each Tuesday to check in with everyone, see how you are all doing and if you have anyone that needs my help on being signposted to therapy I will be getting back in touch with connections. One day when there’s a physical SLH Art Gallery we will hold safe space coffee mornings etc. While running as normal on the other days, my inbox will always be open to help also.
