Looks great

Really excited for today’s event, a celebration of our working class heritage up here in the north east. There’s a host of awesome local musicians performing some stunning original songs as well as some iconic old folk tunes.

There’s no pay on the door tickets but there’s 4 left online if anyone fancies this.

Doors 5pm
Live music from 6pm

***Stanley Fireworks Re-Arranged Timings***
Due to the cancellation of our original event due to the weather and ground conditions, please find details of new arrangements for the event, taking place from 5pm on 11th November.

We are delighted that our new arrangements will allow for those in attendance to join together in an act of remembrance and pay their respects for those who have made the ultimate sacrifice.

A collection will also be taken for the Red Sky Foundation and the Royal British Legion.

***Stanley Fireworks Update***
Unfortunately due to the severe wet weather we’ve experienced over the past few weeks the ground conditions at Oakeys are unsafe and Saturdays fireworks display will not go ahead as planned.

We have been working tirelessly to look at ways to allow the event to go ahead safely but unfortunately due to the extremely wet ground conditions we have been left with no other choice but to postpone the event.

The safety of the public is paramount to everyone having an enjoyable event and our team is working hard to deliver our 2023 display on Saturday 11th November at Oakeys. We are hopeful that, if the weather is kind next week, the site will have drained adequately to allow a great display for our community.

All residents parking permits are valid for next week, the same safety arrangements will be in place for the re-arranged event.
We apologies for the inconvenience this has caused to thousands of families and are looking forward to welcoming you all to the event on 11th November from 5pm for the same great experience as we’ve provided for you all in previous years.
