Last week was a week off for iWill Photo but the photography didn't stop. It was time to do some photography for myself. I was able to capture the Northern Lights which was a bucket list surprise. Also we were there for the British Fireworks Championship in Plymouth. We watched local Bonfire Society Battel win.

Well done BBB Fireworks here are some of the photos i was able to capture of there display on a very wet and windy Thursday evening.

Bucket List item achieved...photographing the Aurora Borealis (aka the Northern Lights). It was such a clear night here in Cornwall last night, so decided to do a spot of astrophotography and capture the Milky Way. When we turned the camera to photograph the stars above our shepherd's hut, this is what was hiding above us. Mind blown!
Now that it has been confirmed by official sources that this WAS the Northern Lights, I'll have to go back to the images and see what else is hiding in the night sky
