Don’t miss this!

Immerse yourself in "Mettle," a powerful solo performance by award-winning actor Nicholas Collett, directed by Gavin Robertson.

Through gripping storytelling and physical theatre, Nicholas brings to life his father’s harrowing journey during the Atlantic Convoys of World War Two. From Sheffield to Liverpool to Nova Scotia, Boston to West Africa and home again.
This evocative performance, enhanced by a dramatic soundscape and 40’s music, pays tribute to the bravery of those who served, those who were lost, and those who survived to share their stories.

Staveley Roundhouse

Staveley Roundhouse has existed in its current form since 1990, but the building you see here today has been in use since 1862, originally as a gas holder owned by the Staveley near Kendal, Gas Company but was later gifted to Staveley Players after the demise of said gas company.

We produce around 5 plays a year and play host to a range of events from art exhibitions to films, Jazz, Folk and quizzes.

With a maximum of 48 seats we provide a truly intimate experience.
