And that guys, is a wrap! Feeling nothing but absolute joy and gratitude today as I close the doors to my workshop for the final time. Just shy of 10 years of a career I carved out for myself from scratch and that I loved and now, an opportunity to try something new 😃
Thank you a million times over to every single person who has supported me whether you were one of my brides or grooms, a photographer who sent me awesome images of my work or a poor family member who worked a Saturday morning lugging buckets of flowers about for me 🤣🫣 you are all absolute legends! Special shout out to the numerous brides who got in touch to show me the tattoo of their bridal bouquet they’ve had done! Whaaaaaaat 😱 that will be forever my legacy in floristry, my work here is done 🤣 over and out 🫡
P.s why am I keeping all of those magazines? Because I’m in them! 🕺🏻yup, my work is either in or on the cover of all of these printed mags, can’t say it enough, im so grateful ❤️

Hello! Hope you’re all well
I’m using your favourite bouquet ever (according to the stats 🤣) to announce that, in the next few months, I’ll be closing the doors of The Floral Design Boutique for the final time
Life has changed beyond belief over the past few years, as it has for many of us, and the time has come for a change of career too. Right now my family need me but, when I’m ready to return to the world of work, a change of pace is on the horizon. I’ve been a florist for a long, long time and have been in business just shy of 10 years - can you believe it?! I’m incredibly proud of the successful business I’ve created and have loved every minute including all the early mornings and late nights (hello 2am take-down I’m looking at you 🤣) but, I feel my creative streak now taking me in a different direction, away from floristry and weddings and well, you’ve got to follow your heart haven’t you?
Huge thanks to all of my clients and industry friends I’ve made along the way. It’s been an absolute pleasure… see ya on the other side 😘

We have golds, reds, greens and silvers to choose from but if you don’t have a preference that’s cool, our elves are happy to surprise you with something festive 🤩

I have so many gorgeous weddings to show off from this year but where does the time go! Oh wait, I know, twins 🤣

Little (well, long actually 🤣) update from me with regards wedding’s and the next few years..
After a lot of chat, I’ve made the decision not to return to work full time until our babes are at nursery at least. So that will be in 2 years time. They’re not gonna be this small and cute forever and we’re going to make the most of it while they are 🥰
What that means for TFDB is that I’ve now capped next years diary as it stands. We have some gorgeous weddings in there which I can’t wait to give my full attention to but, I won’t be taking any more wedding bookings for 2022
My 2023 diary won’t open until late Summer next year. Later than usual (would usually be now) but I have to know that I can do things properly, at home and at work, so this is the best option
What IS happening though is that I will be back on social media more and will inject some new life into the website. Watch out for loads of gorgeous piccies coming your way and send me your wedding pics if I did your flowers if you haven’t already!
Thanks to everyone for your understanding and patience as always. What a team you are 🙌🏻

Between the poll I did on Instagram, and asking the question on Facebook, it seems that more people are in favour of Christmas Wreath DIY kits again this year.

Great to hear that you enjoyed them so much!

I know this won’t suit everyone, apologies to anyone who is disappointed there won’t be any face to face classes.

It’s been manic at TFDB these past few months with lots of rescheduled weddings going ahead at similar times 😅 but.. we did it!

Here’s just a snippet of what we’ve been flowering on our travels. We’ve been everywhere from Crossbasket Castle to Loch Melfort Hotel in Oban and everywhere in between 🤪🚚🌸

I’m so sorry I’ve been MIA, life with twins is busier than I could ever have imagined!

We’re all good though and hope you are too.

My inbox is bursting with 2022 enquiries now that there seems to be some light at the end of the tunnel (yay!🤞🏻) getting time to go through emails isn’t easy though and I’m not officially back at work until May but I will try and skoot through them to at least let you know availability and we can take it from there.
