⭐ FREE Animation Workshop ⭐ – Sat 9 Dec, 3-4:30pm | Ages 6-12

As part of his Exhibition in Tolbooth Gallery, George Farrow Hawkins will be here this Saturday leading an animation workshop.

Participants will take a tour through George’s models and animations displayed within the gallery space. After this, in the workshop space participants will have the opportunity to make their own stop-motion animations using plasticine and recycled materials.

'Meet the artist' today 3-5pm at the Tolbooth gallery visitors can meet George Farrow Hawkins.

Since 2018 George has been focused upon the production of stop motion short films within his practice. These films have achieved selection for multiple national and international short film festivals including Edinburgh Short Film Festival, Suffolk_Shorts Film Festival, 7 Second International Film Festival (Argentina), Adriatic Film Festival (Italy) and the Fastnet Short Film Festival (Ireland).

The exhibition showcases the processes, dioramas and model figures from the films that George has produced.

Man of Moon are a two piece psychedelic/alternative rock band formed in Edinburgh and now based in Glasgow. The band, Chris Bainbridge (Guitarist/Vocalist) and new drummer (Iain Stewart) are currently working on the second album with more music to be released in 2023.
