I see Oasis are reforming for a world tour. Given that Derrick Malcolm and I were original members back in the 1970s, I feel pretty upset not to have been asked.
Oh! a different Oasis (I wasn't even aware we had a tribute band).

Starting tonight 1st Nov, the jam moves to its winter timing of 9pm start till 11.30pm. This will be until clocks change again in the spring. Still as much fun and, as always, all players and singers welcome. See you later (or should that be "earlier").

Sad to let you all know that Allan Goodsir "Wee Al" has passed away. A great character, always laughing, he was a regular here at the jam. His funeral is at Stirling Crematorium Thurs 7th Sept at 3pm. He will be missed by us all. Sincere condolences to his family.

Uncle Jimmy RIP (Jimmy Anderson)

Jimmy's funeral service will be on Monday 28th August at 11.00am in St.Ninians Old Parish Church. Commital at Logie Cemetery 12 noon. Thereafter to Birds and Bees, Easter Cornton Rd.
All welcome.

Sad day for the jam session and Scribblers Picnic.. Oor Uncle Jimmy died this morning. Recently he hasn't been fit enough to attend but most of us at the jam fondly remember him ferrying the equipment in his wee blue van back and forward to Roadshow every week and making sure the van was packed immediately at finishing time. Every Picnic he did multiple trips between the rugby club and the shop. He was always smiling. obliging and on a few occasions dancing too. He was always known as just Uncle Jimmy - for all of us lucky enough to know him - he was Oor Uncle Jimmy.
A proud Scots Guard he would never tire of telling of his time in Suez and Cyprus. Well Guardsman, the battle's over. Stand easy!
