Who else is tackling the inbox?!! 📧
After a busy December I’ve eased into 2022 but after taking the decorations down yesterday it’s time to get back to work and very excited to make plans for the year ahead.
Thank you so much for all your support over Christmas and congrats to all of the couples who got engaged over the festive season. It’s been great to see your enquiries coming in and looking forward to chatting about your ideas for your big day.
Being a new start up I have relatively good availability for 2022 and 2023 and now taking bookings for 2024 so please get in touch if you’re looking for a florist for your wedding or event.
And more than anything wishing you all a happy and prosperous 2022! Hope you’re staying Covid free. Onwards and upwards surely - am I right?!!

Day 5 - tips on how to have a more sustainable wedding…
The thing I aim to do that makes the biggest difference is to buy from
local growers during the British season. Not only does it cut down on transportation emissions but also on the amount of plastic wrap and other packaging. Any leftovers are compostable. And the bonus is that as you can see from the video the blooms tend to be more natural looking, scented and often last longer. 😍
Plus you get to work closely with growers like the wonderful Sarah @keepingtheplotflowers, who are super knowledgeable and as passionate about flowers as you are. I work with people like Sarah to select blooms to a bespoke colour palette and flower choice, which are different for each event or wedding.
I also keep my use of floral foam to a complete minimum and use the brown eco one although I believe this isn’t completely biodegradable yet so 99/100 it’s chicken wire and water as a base.
And I dry any extra blooms and reuse as many sundries as I can to minimise use of plastics.
Traditionally I don’t think we’ve been a great industry for the environment but there’s really been some great progress in the past few years with the #nofloralfoam movement gaining momentum.
And I’d urge you to do the same for your wedding. How can you cut down your impact on the 🌎? What could you buy second-hand or pass on afterwards? Such a minefield but once you start to think about it and do a bit of research you can make a difference. 💪🏻💪🏻💪🏻

Just reflecting on yesterday. My first ever wedding show. Getting out of my comfort zone and putting myself out there!! Feeling proud and think the stand looked 😍😍😍 even if I do say so myself. All put together pretty quickly after booking about a week ago.
Lush autumnal foliage with muted and blush blooms nestled in the floral pillar and pops of colour in the wild woodland below.
Can’t wait to follow up with the couples I met to talk more about their vision for their wedding day.
