Well, that's us officially done for Christmas.

It’s been a tough time this year with inflation on more or less everything, its effecting everyone. Hopefully, next year will be better and we’ll see people really enjoying themselves like pre covid!

We've also learnt a lot this year, and none of it will be forgotten. How you are treated is a reflection on them, not you.
We will always be the best in what we do and keep pushing forward.

On the whole It's been an absolutely amazing year.

We will check our emails when we can, but for now, it's time for us lot to relax for a few days before we do it all again in 2025 with different things in the pipeline! 2024 has been an experience.

We would like to thank each and every person that’s supported us, without you we would be nothing. Most importantly for me, I’d like to thank my amazing team, suppliers and vendors for all your support, together we help bring the BEST in Cheshire.

Thanks to everyone who’s inboxed us with support or just being nosy to whats gone on!.

Just to answer some of the questions, on the 16th of June Becca from EVENTS BY MARISSA LIMITED bookd a LED Dance Floor for the 22nd of June. The dance floor was trashed causing over £1600 worth of damage.

Long story short, Becca first of all refused to pay for the damage, refused to give us any insurance details, she came up with every excuse under the sun. I then told her i’d be taking them to court for payment, she then said she would pay in full and can she have 30 days, no problem. Did they pay? Did they f**k.

I then issued court proceedings, they waited until the very last day to reply kicking the can down the road further!
They admitted fault and offered something silly knowing i’d decline so Mediation it was! Kicking the can down the road again, guess what they did? You guessed it she cancelled it on the day!!!

It will now proseed to court but this could take up to 6 month.

It’s just over £1600, this is very embarrassing i’d get it if it was thousands but £1600 shouldn’t be classed as a big bill considering how they portray the company.

Now to the why are you putting it on social media? They have never had any intention of paying us whatsoever this wont go to court as they are a limited company and will bump it, the website and instagram are already down.

If you are a supplier please dont work with EVENTS BY MARISSA LIMITED or make sure they have the correct insurance. If it goes wrong you’re not getting paid. This experience has made us change as a company, we now no longer rent out dance floors to anyone without a copy of there insurance.
