Aaannd that’s a wrap. Blue Door will be closed until 3rd January so we can have a wee rest after a super busy few weeks. Wishing you all a simply super Christmas time and sending huge thanks to my wonderful, generous, supportive customers, without whom Blue Door is nothing, and to Siobhan and Sam who have worked so so hard this year! So today is one of my favourite pre-Christmas traditions. Megan comes into my wee shop to make a table centre for her wonderful family’s Christmas celebrations. Every year, this remarkable young woman makes a truly impressive design (with zero guidance from me.) She has a true, natural talent for floristry. (Although her true love is the football pitch..) Thank you for sharing your pre-Christmas with me, Megan (and Granny Christine and Mummy Rhian!) Please ignore how utterly knackered I look in this pic. I promise to wear more makeup tmw. I neeeed it!

Aaaaand that’s a wrap on the very last wreath making workshop of 2024…
Gigantic thanks to this lovely bunch who took a break from ordering our “at home” kits, to come into our wee shop to make their Christmas door wreaths. Nice job, ladies!
I’m so grateful to every single one of you who chose Blue Door to buy your door wreath (or to join us to create their very own wreath.) The front doors and streets of The Heatons are looking extra special this Christmas!
