Sadly it seems that the Robinsons Brewery Old Tom mural has been removed from the The Arden Arms Pub Stockport.

We understand that the wall is Grade 2 Listed and cannot even be repaired without permission. Such a shame as this eye catching mural representing 125 years of Old Tom ale was a great addition to the area.

You can't have anything nice! When we posted this beautiful temporary piece of art work we received 800 positive responses and no negative. Apparently 1 person from Stockport heritage has complained and the art work has to be removed.😪

We all love a classic 'whodunnit' but you can't beat a gripping Miss Marple mystery with plenty of twists and turns expertly penned by Agatha Christie! This one is a corker!

An announcement in the local paper states the time and place when a murder is to take place but the victim is not one of the house's several occupants, but an unexpected and unknown visitor.

We have four free tickets for the amateur production of 'A Murder Is Announced' at Stockport Garrick Theatre on Saturday 7th December at 7.30pm.

The lucky winner will also receive four complimentary drinks and four programmes for their party.

Superb brunch at Dal Barista Bistro Stockport today. Absolutely fantastic service from the staff and delicious freshly made food. Will definitely be returning to sample their Italian dishes. 🇮🇹 You can book in the evening as long as you book at least seven days in advance. It has a lovely intimate atmosphere for a family meal out. ✅

If you’re looking for something tasty to eat tonight, pop down to Eat Good West UK the fantastic Asian Food Market which is on tonight at Stockport Parish Church - St Mary's. The smells from the stalls are delicious and there’s live music in the church. It’s a brilliant night and a great opportunity to sample authentic street food from the East.
