Just a reminder to all parents out there: The River Tees is a beautiful place, but it is also VERY dangerous! As a centre, (both staff and members) we try to tell the children swimming in the river how dangerous it can be and warn them against it, but kids will be kids and rarely listen to us. PLEASE know what your children are up to and don't let them swim in the river! It's only a matter of time before another tragedy happens and someone is badly injured or worse! The river is not safe, especially during the warm weather! Please, do not let your kids swim in the river!
